Electronic mail, we pay our Bill's by echeck or debit card, no use for paper checks any longer, and they cost 25.00 and you can do an echeck for free.

Also, letters are faxed or emailed.

I know members in my extended family whom retired in middle class due to working at the USPS. The post Office just like newspapers and Ivy League schools charging 40K a yr to give to athletes to go on scholarship are being eliminated in Recession.  Just like Home Day Care are outsourcing Day Care Centers for Toddlers
