For those unaware, there is a federal "Order of the Star" that the president is able to delegate. I recently learned that Lincoln has their own regional version of it which prompted this. I think it would be a nice way for the Governor to commemorate those who have made positive contributions to the region.

The specific of the bill are almost identical to the federal version, just replaced "president" with "governor", added the word southern and changed it from Congress to the Chamber. That being said, I'm welcome to amendments if anyone has an idea.

Interesting, thanks. I had looked in Wiki prior to introducing this but didn't find.

That being said, I think the version I introduced is simpler and I like that it is similar to the federal ones, which are well known and will hopefully allow for this to be more widely used. On Southern Honors Act, the last three are all very similar to one another and borderline indistinguishable. Looking back at the last few, I don't believe either MB or Leinad utilized it, and West_Midlander only gave it to two non-Southernors.

No issues from me. It makes sense to simplify the honours system from multiple different levels to a simple silver and gold.
