With Kamala Harris as Biden's running mate, and with the polls in Texas and Georgia being so close, is it helpful for Biden now in those states?

I’m sure it makes about as close to no difference as realistically imagineable

She might marginally bump his performance with educated, suburban voters.  So yeah, Harris probably helps a smidge in the Atlanta, Dallas, Houston areas.

She will perform well with suburban women so potentially.

My hope is maybe she'd help with rural black turnout a bit, either way I don't see this pick as a real positive or negative difference and when you are ahead its fine!

Yes, she is very good (but not perfect) fit for Sun Belt. She will help Biden with Latino-Americans, educated suburban voters, especially women and will help improve turnout among African-Americans.

But I'm not confident that she will help in Rust Belt/Midwest, I'm think that certain number of WWC voters now won't vote for Biden because of her. She can cost Democratic ticket one/two states in Midwest

I doubt that the VP choice will ultimately change the final EV count, either way.
