Not when Republicans can't even tell the difference between him and Elijah Cummings.

I can't believe that we live in a time when political news is scarier than most horror movies.

No Voter ID Required in North Carolina!!!

How is the place with one of the worst state Republican parties being so much more reasonable when it comes to voting rights compared to other swing states?

Because NC has a liberal 6-1 supreme court, a Democratic Governor, and a Democratic Secretary of state.

That's definitely ideal. I just always expect the North Carolina GOP to pour all of their effort into undermining those.

Yeah it definately helps. In my simulator in high voter suppression mode, NC is the state that could save the Democrats if voter suppression gets really bad.

I never thought it was possible to see that day.

This is an excellent example of why a free and active press is essential to a functioning democracy.  The publicity generated by the reporting of the removals is undoubtedly why they've been suspended.  Without it, they would have quietly continued.

It's also why we should be glad that DeJoy and Trump are being so brazen about this whole gambit, it offers the opportunity to mitigate everything they are doing as they are doing it as best as possible. If this were to have been kept a secret somehow it would be a whole lot worse.

THANK YOU SH!TTY TEENYBOPPER MUSICIAN!

Proving that while her music is almost as bad as Kanye's, Taylor Swift is still a more useful and better person. Since she speaking about this means people who wouldn't listen otherwise will.

I was neutral in the whole Swift versus West war for awhile, but the choice couldn't be easier after these past few years.

Take that back Taylor's music is amazing
"Look What You Made Me Do" is one of the worst songs I've ever heard.

Yeah...and that recent "Me-e-e oooh oooh oooh" song isn't much better. I can look past that though if she somehow manages to help Biden get elected.

This is excellent news, but we can't let our guard down. Trump and his minions may very well be trying to make us do that. But for now it does seem like Trump's hubris backfired on him, as per usual.

DeJoy's words yesterday meant nothing:

Like I said, don't let your guard down. Democrats on Capitol Hill next week certainly won't.

Who had "Postal workers revolt" on their 2020 bingo card?

Freedom fighters! I would love to see this civil disobedience spread throughout the country.

Surprised it took until almost 11:30 Pacific for that to get posted here

Honestly nobody in this country cares, or even understands it, so why should it get such immediate attention?

Dude, take a break from the news & this board and get some rest. It's really getting to you this weekend.

It's almost like you're a.....progressive pessimist Huh

I know. But posting here is often cathartic for me to get my thoughts out.

Received this in the mail... not very reassuring...

I got one too and had the exact same thought. It's good that they're informing voters though. It sucks that they have to at all, of course.

Trump should be impeached and removed just for this, not to mention the 100 other things he's done that warrant it.

Only 100?

Based on early results I don't think the voter suppression is being very effective!

Who knew Trump making noise about the USPS & essentially writing the Dems GOTV campaign 3 months before the election would lead to Dems getting out the vote??

He went full Bond villain.

More good news!

Our luck with rulings like this and others from this year is going to run out so depressingly when Amy Hotdog Barrett is confirmed...

If the election goes to SCOTUS they will rule in favor of Trump.

This is actually what the GOP is hoping for.

Literally most of the country wouldn't accept the ruling

They never cared what most of the country wanted before, why start at that point?

Daniel Dale already debunked this. Taken out of context because he was (wrongly) blaming SCOTUS for finding out the election winner later than election night. So it was a sarcastic comment about finding out the winner late.

Disclaimer so you all don’t think I’m a trumper:  Trump

Trump has made "sarcasm" a meaningless concept.

Pat Toomey is starting to break from the nonsense:

Again, he has the luxury to say this since he is retiring and won't have to face any consequences for it from the GOP's rabid base.

Still though, it's good to hear. What does it say that Pat f***ing Toomey is a voice of reason within this despicable political party?

The Republican party is a criminal conspiracy. I am glad that the GA SOS has been able to stand up to the MAGA thugs.

I've been pleasantly surprised by the integrity he has displayed. That concept is anathema to most other Republicans. He is actually a huge step up from Secretary of State Kemp.

Can't believe Trump hasn't added Bob Loblaw to his crack legal team yet.

Barry Zuckercorn would be an improvement over his current team.

A view from over the pond. The USA is presenting itself as a failing democracy, a banana republic where power-crazed politicians  are incapable of accepting anything other than victory. The US voting system is as good as it gets under any democracy. Of course, there will be irregularities in any system, and there will be human errors from time to time, but the charges of wholesale fraud against the American people are ridiculous. Hundreds of thousands of politicians and election official staff involved in a criminal conspiracy against the country without any evidence? Preposterous.
The most perplexing, and disappointing, aspect to the outside observer, is the sheer gutlessness of the Republican Senators for cowering down under Trump's bullying and failing to condemn baseless fraud accusations. Sometimes, the course of life doesn't go as we might personally prefer, in which case we just  have to get on with things and accept what the majority of the population decide.
The current trajectory of the USA suggests a break-up, with some States starting to secede from what has become a hate-infested union. A re-run of the Soviet Union. Ultimately, that might be best for both the US people and the rest of the world.

You're preaching to the choir, my bloke.
