Daniel Dale already debunked this. Taken out of context because he was (wrongly) blaming SCOTUS for finding out the election winner later than election night. So it was a sarcastic comment about finding out the winner late.

Three more days until we can remove this cancer from the body politic. With luck, Biden not only cracks 300 EC votes, he also carries Texas and a bunch of other places, thrashing Trump so thoroughly that no corrupt scheme can save him.

You obviously didn't understand what he said.
He thanked the Supreme Court for making it almost certain that the winner of the election won't be known on Election Day, because the Supreme Court did not invalidate all extended deadlines for receiving of mail-in ballots.

That thank you was sarcastic.

If this turns into another Bush v. Gore, I'm not sure the political system and current form of government could survive. Three Presidential elections where the person who got the most votes, doesn't win in only twenty years, two of which were decided by a supposedly fair and unbiased Supreme Court would be something we'd expect to see decreed by the Guardian Council in Iran. Any remaining semblance of a fair "by the book" non partisan Supreme Court would be lost, possibly irreparably.

Fortunately, if the polls are correct (yes I know they were wrong in 2016) the margin of victory will likely be large enough so that Trump will have no leg to stand on legally, in challenging the results of the election.

If the election goes to SCOTUS they will rule in favor of Trump.

This is actually what the GOP is hoping for.

Literally most of the country wouldn't accept the ruling

They never cared what most of the country wanted before, why start at that point?

Because the ruling itself would make the court seem illegitimate, and Biden and Trump would probably both have inauguration ceremonies in Jan.

So what if they don't accept it? There will be some protests but nothing would change. After like, a few months, most of the country would just accept it and move on (unfortunately).

Then is this country isn't worth saving, and you should make plans to relocate, as I intend to do. There are places where democracy is actually valued, and people are willing to pay for it in blood. If the U.S. isn't one of those places, then you'd better hope the racist authoritarians are merciful this time around!

This is pretty extreme. I think we all expected them to fight like hell to invalidate ballots received after election day, but for them to try and get rid of ballots that were accepted on or before election day and invalidate them purely because they haven't been counted yet is basically a tactic one would expect in a quasi-fascist banana republic.

I still maintain that this strategy is so cartoonishly corrupt and anti-democratic that it won't even be heard in court. If the Trump team's case is purely that votes shouldn't be counted because they are likely to be for his opponent, then I bet that those cases will be thrown out and the appeals unheard. That said, I am glad that Biden's got thousands of lawyers on standby because he needs to be prepared for this kind of thing.

Jason Miller and Stephen Miller are two different people (although they're both terrible).

Trump advisers were trying to figure out how to pander to Pennsylvanians but don't know the difference between steel and steal.

If this was their master plan to steal the election, then they’re even dumber than I thought.

I think this would have no chance to succeed in court. He'd have a better chance of success honestly if he ordered his thugs to march to the PA Convention Center in Philadelphia to kill everyone and destroy all the absentee ballots stored there.

If Biden were doing anything remotely close to this, almost every Democratic poster here would be loudly condemning it.

If they actually do this and Trump remains president despite losing the election, I guarantee you there will be extraordinary violence nationwide that will continue until Trump is no longer president.

Let's pray for a Biden quick and easy victory in North Carolina (and ideally Florida and Georgia) to prevent this situation.

I'm pessimistic, I think the violence would die down after a few months and people would "accept" it.

I’m starting to wonder if the actual purpose of Trafalgar is to create cover for Trump claiming that the election is stolen. Much harder to claim this if ALL polls say he is losing.

Nah, skewed polls have always existed.
