Of course, if you asked Trump this question, he would say that he was probably the greatest president in history, but what do you think he really thinks about his legacy? Does he genuinely believe that he will be remembered as “God’s gift to America”, or do you think that deep down, he actually knows that he will he remembered as a national embarrassment and a man who set America back?

He probably believes that he's at least the greatest president since Lincoln and that only the lies by the Fake News Media, the sabotage by the Deep State, and the obstruction by the Democrats are the reasons why only a minority of the voters see him the same way.

He was a businessman turned Prez, was never an officeholder.  That's why he hired Kudlow, Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Flynnz whom cost him dearly and the botched Covid 19 response to a second term. He wont be remembered but an impeached Prez, and not too many dignitaries are gonna come to his funeral

Deep down he knows he's a complete f'up and abject failure, so he seeks out approval at rallies and on Fox News and OANN to satiate his frail ego.

He thinks he's the greatest prez in history, having built the strongest economy ever and done more for AAs than anyone else. If he loses, it will either be the result of rigging and the Fake News, or because Americans are too stupid and actually don't deserve him.

History scholars and experts of course will rank him as one of the worst US leaders ever, certainly the worst prez in over 100 years.

He doesn't think about it. He only thinks about the here and now and how famous and rich he can become.

Trump rarely thinks more than an hour ahead about anything but if it does ever cross his mind he probably delusionally assumes that history will vindicate him for all the "presidential harassment" he has received over his four to (hopefully not) eight years in office. Meanwhile the opposite is probably going to be true about his legacy, as usual.

In his mind, he is the greatest person on the planet ... yesterday, today and forever.

I think he knows. How could he not? I think Republican lawmakers know, too. The only people who aren’t in on it are Trump voters.

There isnt much of anything that Biden can do differently than he can, absent a vaccine. Biden would have to issue Executive orders if talks break down over extended unemployment benefits.  Pandemic isnt going away next yr, either

It actually might save him, if he's able to restrict mail-in ballots to a significant degree.

Given the polls showing better polls than weekend's disastrous poll numbers, all he needs to do is come within range of WI and PA to contest irregularities in ballots, to delay the certification of Biden. VBM will show irregularities

This is coming off the heels of Executive orders,  Trump isnt that bad as Ds portray him to he
