The WI GOP is already looking to kill Evers’ mask mandate. The sheriff’s in the WOW counties and several other GOP stronghold counties have said they won’t enforce it. Ah, the WI GOP is rotten.

Is the GOP on a suicide mission or something? Seriously.

Why are Rust Belt Republicans so uniquely awful? Michigan and Pennsylvania are like this too - extreme abortion bans, 2015-style total obstruction of everything they can, etc etc

They are gerrymandered into safe seats so they will face zero repercussions for their actions. In Wisconsin, the Dems won the popular vote for state assembly by over 200,000 votes and lost seats.

Typical.

2010 really did a number on legislative maps. Worst possible time to have a Republican wave.

This is what happens when you have gerrymandering on steroids, which allows people who want to inject even more steroids into the state gerrymander to their favor to keep getting re-elected. Hopefully Wisconsin gets fairer districts after this year, so it can be a little more democratic than Iran.

That's gonna be up to the Wisconsin Supreme Court if the redistricting by resolution (aka no need for the governor's signature) rumors are true.

Brian Hagedorn might uphold the mask mandate.

The Republican Party just has to have the wrong opinion on everything.
