Why do the people in Georgia keep electing her?

Well, it's the people of her district, not Georgia as a whole obviously. They did vote her out in the 2002 primary in favor of Majette but when Majette decided to foolishly run for Senate in 2004, McKinney was able to come back.

Majette ran for Zell Miller's seat, right? So if he would have ran for re-election, Majette probably would have ran for the House again. It's all Miller's fault. Smiley

Yes.  It was sad to see Majette's downfall in 2004.  And now she's running for state school superintendent this fall.

McKinney already had a primary challenge before her recent incident, but now a potentially very strong candidate (DeKalb County CEO Vernon Jones) is mulling a run, apparently.

I would probably vote for McKinney over any Republican. And definitely over Melissa "the rapist" Brown!

The..."rapist?" Wow. Uh...people accussed her of being "racist," not a rapist.

Well I just made that up, but thank you for informing me that Melissa Brown is racist. I can't say I'm surprised though...She is a Republican, so naturally I would assume that African Americans and other racial minorities are on her long list of people that need to be sent to death camps.

Why do you support death camps, Phil?

Though I'd consider supporting McKinney if her opponent was Marilyn Musgrave (R)

Brown would landslide in that election, so I would just go pick up some Burger King and watch it on TV. No need to stand in a two hour long line to vote for a candidate who will win with 80% with or without my vote.

If forced to go, I'd vote for Brown in a heartbeat.
