I have only a handful of memories from the 2000's, so I will vote 2010's.

However, based on things I have read and heard, on the one hand the 2000's were economically and socially more stable; on the other hand, it was peak Berlusconi-centric time in Italy and look, I have gotten sick with Trump-centric conversations and I don't even live in the United States, so it must have been awful (I'm referring to both pro-X and anti-X takes).

Both decades were awful, but 2016-present have been the worst years of my life. The 2010's are clearly worse. No contest.

Both will be pure sunshine compared with the one we've just entered.

2000's had better music/movies and a better economy. It did have 9/11 and Iraq but we also had a fascist game show host in the WH in the 2010's. I voted 2000's.

Please, no! It's off to a s****y start for sure, but I don't know if I can take nine years of consistently worsening!

2010s > 2000s. Say what you want about the circus that was the latter half of the previous decade, but it's hard to compete with the geopolitical climate that the post-9/11 2000s saw.
