Why is the Republican Party tone deaf with healthcare?

If the ACA is gone soon, what happens next?

The main reason health care in the US is so messy is because pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies have paid politicians to protect their profits. Only when that influence is purged from politics can this system be fixed properly.

Well hopefully we have a free, opt-in public option.

I absolutely don't want single-payer.

there is no "right" way to do health care.  There are many different ways with their own pros and cons and certainly an individual can prefer one way over another, but there is no way to do it that is "right" (or even "best") for everyone.
