Twister
To be aired nationwide

[INT. ROOM, DAY -- We see MAN 1 on all fours on a Twister board or canvas or whatever it's called. He is tall and lanky, maybe in his late 30's -- think Kramer from Seinfeld. MAN 2, pudgy and more on the George Costanza end of the Seinfeld spectrum, stands a few feet away holding the game "spinner" in his hand. Appropriately, he speaks in a slight New Yawk accent.]

MAN 2
Okay, hmm. Right hand, "attack Labor for their transportation plan."

[Close-up shot of the Twister board. MAN 1 slaps his hand down on a yellow dot reading just that.]

MAN 2
Now, left foot, "support expensive rail for the wealthy."

[MAN 1 puts his left foot on said dot, struggling a little to reach over. Cut to MAN 2 reading off the spinner.]

MAN 2
Right foot, "say Labor is 'hot air' with no positions."

[Offscreen we hear MAN 1 briefly grunt with strain. The pace is increasing. We hear the sounds of MAN 1 whirring his limbs to keep up.]

MAN 2
[Squinting] Left hand, don't say what your positions are on anything.

[WIDE SHOT of the pair that gradually pulls back. MAN 2's orders accelerate to a fever pitch -- "campaign in platitudes," "pull dirty tricks in the South," etc, all come in rapid succession and overlap with each other. We see MAN 1 contorting himself in ways that seem impossible to follow the instructions. The noise of both gradually fades out...]

NARRATOR
The Democratic Alliance are tying themselves in knots to smear everyone else. This election, don't get it twisted. Vote Labor.

[...as the scene gradually FADES to the Labor Logo. THE END.]

To run on television and online in all states with December elections until December 23.

INT. KITCHEN – DAY

We open on a very large man eating a very large, very sticky cake. The cake is enormous; when the man is seated, it is almost as tall as him. He is sitting on the floor tearing off pieces of cake with his hands and shoveling them into his mouth. His face and hands are covered in frosting, and he has bits of cake smeared all down his front. The camera slowly begins to zoom in on his frosting-covered lips as a voice speaks.

NARRATOR (VO)
It's just so hard to only want one thing at a time. The Dishonest Alliance want to be for the environment ... and they want to be against the Red-Green New Deal. They want to be for local issues ... in national ads. They want to be for middle class economics ... and they want to cut taxes for the richest Atlasians. They want to be for the Value Added Tax ... and against it. They want to be for "solutions" ... and they want to be part of the problem in Nyman.

The Dishonest Alliance want a lot of things. But they can't have their cake and eat it, too.

The image freezes.

NARRATOR (VO)
Vote for the Labor party on December 23. You only get one vote for a better future.

Midtown, Houston
social distancing and masks mandatory, streamed live on TX Labor website

Good evening, Midtown! It's great to be back in Houston and the Lone Star State, where voters like y'all delivered Labor a resounding victory that stunned the nation and the world!

It was less than two months ago when Texans sent a clear message - that the status quo was not good enough, and that it was time for a government with a progressive, people-oriented vision in Austin. But our work is not yet done. Here in Houston, there's much to be done - whether it's shifting to clean, carbon-free energy solutions, eliminating food deserts, protecting Houstonians from the coronavirus, or fighting for the rights and dignity of this city's hard-working folks regardless of their immigration status, a Labor government won't hesitate to take on the difficult issues to make life better for y'all.

The Coalition of Chaos won't tell you this, but opposition to pork-barrel rail wasn't the only part of Labor's energy plan for Texas. In fact, our fight for infrastructure didn't just include highways - which, for the record, are accessible to everyone, not just the few at the top that can afford to burn money on expensive pork barrel rail tickets. Improving clean, cheap public transportation is a key cog of Texas Labor's infrastructure plan - by expanding METRORail and electrifying Houston's public bus fleet, we can bring public transportation to working-class folks who need it to get from home to workplace, instead of building a trillion-dollar rail line that does NOTHING to help ease commutes here in Houston. And, Texas Labor stands for improving renewable energy infrastructure - wind, solar, and nuclear power are the future for powering millions of Houston homes, and a Labor government here in Houston will work with your friends in the state capitol to transition to clean energy while ensuring that folks working in the oil industry can get the retraining requisite to claim good, clean renewable energy jobs. While they run NATIONAL ADS on how they supposedly care about local issues or use fearmongering tactics that target thousands of honest, hard-working Houstonians, we'll be taking action to actually help working-class folks like y'all.

Houston, the choice is yours - vote for a Coalition of Chaos member that will put pork-barrel rail over initiatives that actually fight climate change, or deport your friends, families, and coworkers that help drive Houston's rapidly growing economy, or vote for Kate Sandlin, your Labor mayor who will fight for your interests from Day One. Let's continue the Red Wave that we started in October and vote for Laborites up and down the ballot! Thank you!

Amanda Huggenkiss speaks in Duluth, Minnesota
Safety protocols are in place. Mask wearing and social distancing is mandatory. The campaign event is streamed live by the MN Labor Party.

Sometimes, campaigns get nasty. I’m the last to deny that. But if someone thinks that getting away with lies should be normal in politics, all decent citizens and politicians have to stand up. I am going to give you my recount about our little spat with the Liberals and then you make up your mind about who is right.

I was in Ohio the other day when this liberal congressman made this bizarre claim that a transition to a clean energy sector will kill jobs. I criticized that statement in Ohio because the people there know very well that the jobs there have not been vanishing only since politicians started to care about the climate but since our economy wants to get things produced on cheaper markets because they do not want to pay the good wages that the highly-skilled people in the industrial regions of Atlasia deserve. Then the friend of the congressman made the bizarre claim that Atlasians are laid-off because their jobs are given to foreigners.

Duluth, you have a proud industrial history, but you also had a tragic economic decline. You know that the jobs which were lost in the seventies and the eighties are not lost because they were taken by immigrants. They are lost because they are gone. They are lost because companies did not need them anymore. On the one hand, this was due to technological developments. On the other hand, this was because the companies did not want to pay good wages for Atlasian workers.

If someone says that the foreigners are taking your jobs, they do not actually mean it. They want you to be angry at someone else because they do not want you to be angry at them, for they have no solution to the problem.

Labor does not need to provoke hate towards any human being, because Labor has a solution to the problem. Just recently, Labor has passed the Red-Green-New-Deal, which will begin a new era of Atlasian industry.

With heavy investments in green energy, the government will invest in a sector with near-endless expansion potential. Green energy will provide more jobs than antiquated energy has ever done for it relies on finite resources. In the green energy sector, every qualified worker will find a job. Also, the Deal has put the biggest energy companies in public hands and thus ensured that the business decisions of these companies will be made on behalf of the people of Atlasia. Labor has created thousands, if not millions, new, well-paid, unionized jobs. I am certain that soon, many people listening will call themselves proud NPWA-workers.

Labor is not about rhetoric, it is about actions. Some of our competitors think they can pander to you by telling you that water is wet and important. Labor does not have to do that. We do not have to sing songs about how good we are. We do not have to attack our opponents based on lies and invented policy positions. Do not get distracted by that. The only two things that matter is what we have done so far and what we want to do. The Labor ticket in your state will fight with us to give the economy back to the people and to create a more inclusive and fairer society. Our legislative accomplishments speak for themselves, but our task is not over.

Bobby Dodd Stadium, Midtown, Atlanta, Georgia
socially distanced crowd of 5,000; masks required; simulcast livestream on the GLP and national Labor websites.

Good morning, Atlanta!

I'm proud to be here with you today in the historic Bobby Dodd Stadium!  Home of the yellow jackets!

Glad to see everybody is masked up and distanced!  Thanks to President Pericles and President MB, it looks like we're going to see this pandemic come to an end sooner rather than later.

Y'all, I am worried.  I'm worried about the future for the state of Georgia.  Have you heard what the opposition is saying?  They're lunatics.  They want to strip your rights and regulate you into oblivion.  Right now in the Southern Chamber, where I represent all of you, there is an extremist fascist bill threatening Atlanta and the entire state of Georgia.  The Federalist Party member who floated this bill knows how oppressive and xenophobic it is.  Their whole party knows.  The Fascist Federalists want to penalize Atlanta for treating our most vulnerable members of society with compassion.  They want you to feel hatred toward those who have different color skin, who come from other countries, who speak a different first language.  It is abhorrent and it is pitiful what they are doing!

So we must vote!  We must vote in droves and send the federalists home packing!  Y'all got to vote!  Tenemos votar por El Partido Laborista!  Keep the bigots out of power. Vote for your local Labor member, give them a majority in your state legislature, and vote for the Labor gubernatorial candidate!

If we don't secure a Labor victory, the Feds and the so-called Liberals will strip your personal freedoms and annihilate your rights.  They want to take away your healthcare.  They want to arrest your neighbors for having a different skin tone.  They want to search your car if you don't have your birth certificate for Dave's sake!  These are not Atlasian values.  They are those of a fascist police state.

Show up and vote.  Vote in droves.  No matter what language you speak.  No matter your skin color.  No matter your persuasion.  No matter your party registration:  show up and vote, and remember a vote for Labor is a vote against tyranny!

Thank you, Atlanta!  Thank you, and Dave bless Georgia and all of Atlasia!

Las Vegas, Nevada

Thank-you. Thank-you.

—not only for your hospitality, but for the loyalty which you and your families have shown to the Labor party in this campaign. You have sent the Dishonest Alliance carpetbaggers and their friends the Lying Liberals racing back to the border with their tails between their legs!

We have got them on the run!

For the last two weeks, the Dishonest Alliance screenwriters have been trying to come up with an attack which would shake the affection which the people of Nevada feel for their government. They have sent the worst of the dregs of Southern society to invade our towns and cities and pollute the countryside with lies. They have fought this election on behalf of the banks and the strikebreakers, the perfumed Eastern money-guzzlers in their foreign limousines in a last, desperate campaign to break the strength of the working people of this country. But I know the people of Nevada, and I am not the least bit surprised to see that their poison has been utterly useless when deployed against the intelligence and character of the people of this state.

We are going to win this election! —and don't you forget it!

We are going to win because the Labor party has ever been the steadfast friend of the farmers and workers of Clark County and all across this state. That is not the rose-colored promises of a Dishonest Alliance huckster —that is the sturdy historical fact! For three years, this government has carried out a policy to break up the centers of power and put the working people of this commonwealth on an equal footing with their employers. It is why we passed the Working People's Bill of Rights to establish a living wage. It is why we passed the Labor Rights Amendment to protect the right to organize. It is why we banned anti-union propaganda in the workplace. It is why we guaranteed parental and long-service leave to every worker in this commonwealth. It is why the Ministry of Justice has gone to war with the perpetrators of wage theft, so that every one of you is paid exactly what you earn and not a penny less! It is why we capped executive salaries at three times the rate of pay for the lowest-paid employee. And it is why will keep fighting until every Frémonter can taste the fruits of their own labor free from fear or exploitation.

The result of these policies is that the ordinary Frémonter is better paid and better employed than their neighbors across the Mississippi. Under the leadership of the Labor party, we have built a fair, prosperous, and equitable society in the West —and we will defend it against the craven efforts of the reactionary cavalcade to roll back the tide of freedom.

The liars and cheaters in the Coalition of Chaos know that they cannot win when the working people of this country stand united. That is why they are now attempting to divide you by circulating a lot of lies about the Labor party's immigration policy.

So let us settle this once and for all. Immigrants are not the enemy. Your cities are not the enemy. Small businesses struggling to make ends meet are not the enemy. Crooked politicians and the Eastern money-guzzlers are the enemy. They have come up from South Carolina to steal your job and send it to Mexico, and now they have the gall to blame the honest Latino family working four jobs to put food on the table, as if they had any credibility to speak on this or any issue.

The people of this state are too sharp to be taken in by a lot of drivel funneled in by the Eastern monied interests. That is why they are going to elect a Labor governor tomorrow. And they are going to elect a Labor majority in the legislature!

Excerpt from socially distanced campaign event in Maple Heights, Ohio
By Nyttend - Own work, Public Domain, https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=48520541
Good morning Maple Heights! Grateful to be here on such a beautiful day! You know, I figured I better get out here from Nyman and give you some honesty because it seems the Lieberals are on a never-ending parade around Lincoln, spreading untruth wherever they go. Just yesterday, my Liberal colleague in the house the other day bragged about "Oh we're going to do independent redistricting commission." Well guess what, Labor passed it earlier this year! This party has practically no platform other than copy-pasting Labor accomplishments that they think people will have forgotten about. You can't trust any Liberal for any office. Their candidate for governor, I mean who the hell even is this guy? Can you trust him to keep any of his promises? Hell no. But folks, we're not campaigning on the hope that you all have forgotten the last couple of years, we're campaigning on concrete accomplishments that every Laborite should be proud of! We're passing common-sense environmental protections, we're passing protections for seniors, we're getting big brother off your back. These is real action, not statements that some strategists cooked up in an air-conditioned room!

I also want to turn your attention to a recent ad the Liberal party started airing in some neighborhoods, I don't know if they're brave enough to share this garbage with you out here, but I want to read to you a little excerpt from it, Grabs piece of paper "Despite the Majority of Atlasians opposing Sanctuary Cities, for jobs, law and order and other reasons", now that word usage is very peculiar to me, "law and order". I think we all know what that means when politicians start urging it's importance. It's the same dogwhistling that was used in the days of Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan, but let me tell you, we're not going to continue to let that stand. We're going to call it out for what it is. "Law and order" means letting the police tread over our citizens, "Law and order" means locking people up for any reason the state wants, "Law and order" is a disgusting embrace of authoritarianism and even I'm startled that the Lieberals would use such a term plainly for all to see. Now let me introduce some local candidates....

Lincoln Labor Advertisement: "Safe"

[1]

Everyone knows Lincoln Labour and Councillor Dave support a safe reopening of our economy and schools, with precautions and protections for our kids and seniors.

In fact they've voted to continue common sense protections into the new year, to keep our communities safe, strong, and healthy. Lincoln Labor has been on the frontlines of keeping families and kids safe in these trying times.

But the Democratic Alliance continues with dishonest attacks and incomplete statements to attack Lincoln Labor and their work for you. They've used half statements and out of context quotes in a disgraceful attempt to win votes.

KaiserDave supports opening schools as soon as safely possible, and make sure your kids can get a safe and meaningful education. The DA is playing dirty politics, but Lincoln Labor is fighting to keep Lincoln safe.

Toledo, Ohio
social distancing and masks mandatory, streamed live on OH Labor website

Good afternoon, Toledo! Great to be here in the Buckeye State.

As working families continue to suffer in the aftermath of the global pandemic, it's clear that Rust Belt communities like Toledo need more good-paying jobs. That's why Labor advocated for and passed the Green New Deal - a historic investment in clean energy that will both bring thousands on jobs to heartland cities like Toledo while also making Atlasia a global leader in the fight against climate change. But Ohio Labor won't rest on these laurels - they'll support job retraining programs that will help workers in the fossil fuel industry transition easily to clean energy jobs, and they'll ensure that these hard-working Ohioans will be first in line for RGND jobs in their communities. While it's important that we fight climate change and resource exhaustion - after all, oil could run out as soon as 2050 - it's also critical that we don't leave good hard-working Atlasians behind in the progress. For Labor, support for our nation's working class isn't just in the name - it's a guiding philosophy for our party.

And this stands in contrast to the Coalition of Chaos, the Dishonest Alliance and Lieberal elitists who attack Labor like rabid dogs one second, cherrypicking and misconstruing statements left and right,  then advocating for already-implemented Labor policy the next. These Wall Street Elitists don't care about working-class communities here in Northwest Ohio - they'd rather give themselves tax breaks while robbing the Rust Belt dry. You can see this on full display with their 'climate plan' - instead of supporting and building upon the RGND, which provides thousands of clean energy jobs and investment that will one day power millions of Ohioan homes, they support building a trillion-dollar rail across 500 miles of West Texan desert. And they somehow have the audacity to attack US on climate! It's ridiculous, Toledo. And don't get me started on the Lieberals, who can't be bothered to read the Lincoln statue book then try and deflect blame when called out - while launching misleading, xenophobic attacks on some of our nation's most upstanding, hardworking future citizens.

So, Toledo, join us in rejecting the platitudes, the fearmongering, the LIES. Join us in fighting for a better Ohio, an Ohio with a wealth of green jobs, an Ohio where no working-class family is left behind, and an Ohio where all Ohioans are cherished and treated with dignity. Join us in voting Labor this December. Thank you.

Excerpt from socially distanced campaign event in Youngstown, Ohio
Hello Youngstown! Great to be here today! The crooks of the Democrat Alliance seem to have come out with some shiny new advertisements! The slick political handlers in the board room who tell them what to say must have realized they are running one of the most low energy campaigns of all time. Now they seem to be proud of the fact that they championed amendments to a high speed rail bill that would build rail out in the middle of the Texas desert! They tried to claim that we opposed the bill, when it was a Laborite who wrote the original. Then their representative starts writing these brain-dead amendments to hurt it's efficiency so they can get their pet projects. They say we shouldn't call it a pork barrel rail but they can't stop us from telling the truth, it is a PORK. BARREL. RAIL.

They lie, they lie, they lie. It's the only card left in their hand. They know they can't win on the issues, their platform is a bunch of muddled garbage and the voters know that. That's why we thrashed them at the polls in October and December, and they continue to have no success in electing their members to congress. They have called us uncivil for our harshness in our condemnation of their miserable policies. Spare me this childish whining! I ask, to what end does civility go? When you create a coalition of chaos that seeks to put in power a reactionary majority which will damage our nation you deserve to get told the truth about what you're doing. Are we supposed to remain civil when a tax cut for the 1% gets passed and our infrastructure crumbles? Are we supposed to remain civil when drones are flying around your neighborhood and blowing up homes? Is it civility above all else that is important? The answer is no, but the Dishonest Alliance will tell you yes.

Then another phony ad comes out just a little while ago. They're claiming we've created tax loopholes for millionaires. Folks these ads are a sick joke. They also complained about a month ago that people making over 100 million dollars should get a tax break. Yes this is what they said, then they backtracked like they always do because they can't look a single damn voter in the eye and tell the truth. They run their mouth with insults then clutch their pearls when we fire back. Their party is an absolute fraud on the Atlasian people and that's why they're going to lose this month.

East Cleveland, Ohio
social distancing and masks mandatory, streamed live on OH Labor website

Good evening, East Cleveland!

Especially here in the Rust Belt, politicians have left big cities out to dry - neighborhoods left to stagnate as anyone with the means leave for greener pastures, urban areas left to fester as suburbanite stock brokers funnel tax breaks and investment money into their golf courses and mansions. Institutional racism in the criminal lawbooks doesn't help either - for too long, promising young minorities have been thrown into jail for the smallest of drug offenses while trust fund babies with personal legal teams get off for far more egregious violations. Inner cities deserve better, and that's where Labor comes in.

A Labor government in Columbus will make inner-city revitalization a priority. We'll invest in redevelopment and affordable housing, and give tax credits to small urban business, to encourage folks to reverse the trends of decline here and help make East Cleveland prosperous again. We'll work to build more renewable energy sources and infrastructure to ensure that every Ohioan has access to clean, affordable energy - the Red-Green New Deal that we just passed in Congress is a huge assist for this, and provides clean energy jobs too! And, we'll work to scrub remnants of the Jim Crow Era and the War on Drugs from the lawbooks, overturning injust convictions and sentencing while working to ensure that racist police officers are held accountable. East Cleveland, we hear your concerns, your pain, and when y'all elect a Labor government here in Ohio we'll never stop fighting for your interests. Under Presidents Adam Griffin, Pericles, and now MB, we've made huge, progressive strides as a nation, so let's keep up the momentum!

Thanks y'all for coming out today! Don't forget to mask up, stay safe, and get out and vote for Labor!

So, if those are worth twice as much as these, how much do you have?

DAUGHTER
25.

CELEBREZZE
You are getting really smart, you know that?

CELEBREZZE (V.O.)
Sometimes I worry about what's going on in the world. I want the world to be clean for my daughter. These rich guys don't care if they mess the planet up for everyone else, they just want to rob it blind.

INT. HOUSE, EVENING - CELEBREZZE and his wife watch television, her head buried in his shoulder. An indiscernable political ad comes on. CELEBREZZE wrinkles his nose slightly.

CELEBREZZE (V.O.)
But I'm glad Labor is fighting for us in Washington. They want the economy to work for everyone, not just the guys up top. They reshaped the energy industry to make it work for us, the people.

INT. HOUSE, EVENING - CELEBREZZE sits at the kitchen table, filling out a ballot. Cut to close-up shot of him checking the box for the Labor candidate.

CELEBREZZE (V.O.)
I'm voting Labor because I want a better future. For me, for my kids. For everyone.

THE END.

SANTA
To air nationwide

INT. MALL, AFTERNOON - SANTA CLAUS, a Mall Santa, sits on a throne at the top of a white "mountain." Children go up to meet SANTA via a staircase, and leave via a slide. Two elves, ELF 1 and ELF 2, flank him on either side. DANA, a young girl, sits on his lap.

SANTA CLAUS
Ho, ho, ho! What would you like for Christmas this year, little girl?

DANA
Santa, my mommy has to take the bus to work every day. She says it's slow and it smells bad and there are too many people. Can you make the bus better?

SANTA (thoughtfully)
Hmm... [PAUSE] How would she like... to take a train... to Chattanooga, Tennessee?

DANA
But Santa, mommy's work is only a few miles away!

SANTA
Sorry, kiddo! Under the DA's plan, she's out of luck -- local transportation will stay pretty much the way it is. But if she wants to take a trip somewhere a thousand miles away, great! It'll only cost 200 bucks. Each way.

DANA
That's not what I want at all!

SANTA
Life's a b****, kid. Anyways, get out of here. We got a line.

DANA (screaming)
NOOOO!!!

INT. MALL, AFTERNOON - ELF 1 and ELF 2 drag DANA to the slide; she holds onto the sides to keep from falling down. Cut to POV from DANA, as Santa puts his boot on her forehead to push her down the slide.

SANTA
Ho, ho, ho.

NARRATOR (V.O.)
Vote Labor. Don't settle for a lump of coal.

OHIO VOTES LABOR: SANDUSKY

Outdoor Rally with 900 in attendance, and various Ohio Labour and staff on side, with press attending. Masks are mandated and chairs are distanced 6 feet apart from each other. Councillor Dave speaks from an stage with a podium marked with the logo of Ohio Labor

It's good to be in Labor Country! And yes folks this is Labor country! These hills, rivers, and valleys are crimson and colored by the party of workingmen and working women. The party of those who live paycheck to paycheck, the party of people who live not from their hedge fund returns and offshore tax havens, but from those teachers, nurses, miners, transit workers, office workers, and small business owners who make this country work!

And come Election Day Ohio must show Atlasia just how crimson it is by electing Labor up and down the ballot. Elect a Labor Governor, Labor Mayors, a Labor Auditor, a Labor Treasurer, and for every other office you can imagine. With luck, and with your vote we can run the table. Then we can continue the record of progressive, decent, common sense policy we have fought for here in Lincoln. Good, growing wages, new green jobs, and public transportation that leaves no man or woman forgotten. We can continue to fight this virus, and with a vaccine, move us out of the dark days of the past and into a bright and shining future. The best possible future, with Labor. And as your Councillor I will continue to fight for good jobs, strong wages, and economic security every day of the week.

Now the folks at the DA have spent a lot of time in Ohio recently. They know how important these elections are, and they know that their party doesn't have much of a leg to stand on beyond out of context attacks and vague platitudes, so they know they need a win here in Ohio. If they can't win in Ohio that cat is out of the bag that the DA is rudderless. So they've been saying all kinds of nonsense.

First they attacked me in a well edited but entirely untruthful ad they made it same like I want our students and teachers to return to school unsafely. The truth is I want our schools open as soon as safely possible, if that means a vaccination requirement when such a measure is feasible, or mask mandates in school into the spring and summer, if that is what it takes to keep our children and teachers safe, but also in school where they are actually learning, that is what I support. Ya'll out there with kids know remote learning is not a positive or viable long term solution, but Labor has a plan to reopen schools safely.

Next they started talking about how they understand local economies better than anyone. I've never heard something so blatantly out of touch, so completely wrong. Did they understand local economies when they pushed the Atlasian-attacking jobs-killing VAT?

(Crowd says: NO!)

No they did not no they did not. They didn't understand local economies at all. With a tax like that they makes every purchase harder for middle class families, and every transaction a bigger pain for Lincoln small businesses it's hard to say they understood any economics at all.

Labor on the other hand, is here for you. It was a Labor governor that vetoed that VAT, and thank the lord you all got out to the polls to kill it once and for all. It will be Labor statewide officials they go to bat for you, not the DA. That's why we need to get out the polls! Get in line and stay in line! Whatever it takes! Make no mistake your pocketbook is on the ballot, your savings are on the ballot, your communities are on the ballot! So Labor up and down folks! Labor up and down!

(Crowd chants: Up and Down! Up and Down!)

Thank you and may God keep you all!

Shaker Heights, Ohio
social distancing and masks mandatory, streamed live on OH Labor website

Good evening, Shaker Heights!

This election has rapidly descended the mud pit, so I feel it necessary to clear the air about certain lies the opposition has been telling. As legislative victories in Nyman and the regions show, from a comprehensive climate package to social security protection to a strong COVID response, Labor is getting it done for the working-class families of Ohio and Atlasia. But, the Coalition of Chaos, after launching misleading, cowardly attacks on good Labor policy while supporting initiatives ripped word-for-word from Labor campaigns, now somehow claims to be the victim here. But I ask - if you truly stand for unity, for action, why do you use fraudulent, cherrypicked attacks to slander the good Ohioans running under the Labor banner? Why do you perpetuate the disunity that you claim to oppose by spreading blatant lies about Labor across this great state? After all, it's not like we can give the Dishonest Alliance a free pass - the future of the Buckeye State is at stake, after all.

Anyway, I digress - and surely some folks here are wondering what policy we have to back this up. And to those good people, I ask that they observe the work we're doing in Nyman and the regions, to protect the interests of working Atlasians against those of Wall Street Elitists. But we also have a plan for Ohio - and one of the major cogs of this plan I haven't gotten into is education. Teaching our younger generations is one of the greatest services one can do, but our teachers aren't compensated are respected NEARLY enough for this. And, the quality of education varies widely across the state - inner-city and rural schools don't get nearly as much resources as they need to provide their students the help they need. Ohio Labor will make remedying this disparity a priority - through investing in our public schools instead of choosing a lucky few to attend prestigious private ones while allowing other students behind in decaying, understaffed institutions. We'll work with unions and school districts to ensure all teachers can be adequately compensated for their work, provide benefits to make teaching a desirable profession, reduce overcrowding and understaffing, and update curriculums to ensure every student can get the detailed, up-to-date education they deserve here in Ohio. As I mentioned earlier, Labor is the party of proven legislative action and leadership - so we WILL get this done for the good students and teachers of this state!

Thank you, Shaker Heights! I know this campaign has gotten a little dirtier than we hoped, but if you join us in putting the Dishonest Alliance and their vicious, slanderous attacks to bed, we can get back to working for y'all in the State Capitol. So cast your ballot for progress and leadership, not platitudes and lies - vote for Labor candidates up and down the ballot!

North Perry, Ohio
social distancing and masks mandatory, streamed live on OH Labor website

Hello, North Perry! Great to be here on beautiful Lake Erie.

While it's been dogged by scandal recently, the nuclear power plant here in North Perry represents a key element of Ohio's - and the nation's - energy future - harnessing and unleashing the energy of the atom to provide oil-free energy to thousands, if not millions, of Ohio homes. While nuclear energy isn't as clean as solar or wind, it's still far superior to the rapidly-shrinking supply of carbon-based fuels, and is a crucial stopgap measure that can be used to ease our transition to clean energy. If y'all elect Ohio Labor to the Statehouse this December, we'll be quick to research and commence new nuclear construction to provide cheap, clean energy and good-paying jobs to thousands of Ohioans.

You can also trust Ohio Labor to clean up nuclear plants - in more ways than one. Thanks to Soviet incompetence, nuclear energy has a bit of a bad rap - and while the pros outweigh the risks, it's nonetheless highly important that we ensure these literal powerhouses are safe for both workers and residents. Ohio Labor will form a Nuclear Energy Board to vet nuclear power plants for safety violations - such as inadequate worker protection from radiation and improper means of waste disposal - and will also implement an anonymous hotline for potentially endangered employees to report violations. After all, safety first! And, Ohio Labor will fight against corruption so nuclear plants remain clean energy beacons, not money laundering havens*. We'll uphold separations between politicians and companies to keep dirty Wall Street Elitist money out of our elections, and create independent boards to hold legislators who violate this divide in an immoral manner. For the sake of the people of Ohio, we can't allow big business money to infiltrate the State Capitol, and Ohio Labor will take a hard stance against this.

Thanks for having me, North Perry! Mask up, stay safe, and remember to vote Labor this December!

*Note to Lumine: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ohio_nuclear_bribery_scandal Assuming this still happened, but in obviously different form with NPC legislators

New Philadelphia, Ohio
social distancing and masks mandatory, streamed live on OH Labor website

Good evening, New Philadelphia!

It's a beautiful night here in eastern Ohio, but to be honest, I'm not quite feeling it. It's been a great honor to get out here in Ohio and talk to good, working Ohioans from across the state, but the hyperpartisan, blatantly false attacks coming from the Wall Street Elitists are starting to wear me down. I mean c'mon - I should only have to hear so many lies in one day!

That said, it's becoming increasingly obvious to me why they're contorting themselves in hundreds of different directions - they are desperate. Over the last two months, voters across the nation saw through their facade of vague platitudes and nebulous promises and firmly rejected them across the board, and now, the trust fund babies of the Dishonest Alliance are making their last stand in Ohio! We've seen in their ads and speeches - whether it's on COVID, infrastructure, or tax law, they'll flip-flop as many times as they possibly can to gain political advantage. They are clearly unfit to govern - after all, a party that can't even decide what they want to campaign on probably won't get much done in the Statehouse.

This stands in stark contrast with Labor. New Philadelphia, you know what Labor stands for, or should I say who - the people. It's in the name, really - Labor is the party of unions, of working-class Ohioans who are tired of being told what to do by big East Coast money. Over the past months and years, we've built a progressive movement that has swept from coast to coast, from the mountains to the heartland, and we've been staunch fighters for a progressive agenda that puts the people first. Whether this comes in the form of social security expansion, a comprehensive COVID stimulus package, or historic green infrastructure and jobs investment, your Labor representatives have put pedal to the medal and have delivered for you. There's no need for us to flip-flop like fish out of water. There's no need for us to shrink from our record and past statements like the Coalition of Chaos has to. We have gotten things done for Atlasia, even during a global pandemic, and we're excited to get to work here in Ohio.

So, New Philadelphia, reject the platitudes, lies, and flip-flopping this December. Let's elect a Labor government to Columbus and give this state the best Christmas gift it could possibly get - a strong, progressive, government ready to lead and fight for working-class families from Akron to Athens!

Ad from KaiserDave's Campaign Committee

Joseph Cao and Kaiser Dave stand against a blank white background. Cao is wearing an orange Federalist rosette and KaiserDave is wearing a red tie and rosette. Joseph Cao gave his full consent to appear in this ad before it aired.

KaiserDave: I’m KaiserDave of the Labor Party.

Joseph Cao: And I’m Joseph Cao of the Federalist Party. Our parties are in the final days of campaigning against each other. And while I think you should vote Federalist—

KaiserDave: —But actually, you really should vote Labor—

Joseph Cao: —there are some things we both can agree on.

KaiserDave: Throughout this cycle, we’ve both been able to debate on the issues that matter to ordinary Atlasians without resorting to personal attacks.

Joseph Cao: More than that, we’ve shown that we can disagree as partisans without hating each other as fellow citizens.

KaiserDave: And whatever the outcome of this or any other election, we can and will work together for a better country.

Joseph Cao: This holiday season, let’s reject the petty personal and partisan rancor and put what really matters to Atlasians first.

KaiserDave: I’m KaiserDave of the Labor Party,

Joseph Cao: I’m Joseph Cao of the Federalist Party,

Both: and we approve this message.

To be Aired Across Lincoln

Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
social distancing and masks mandatory, streamed live on OH Labor website

Good evening, Cuyahoga Falls!

Another hour, another Dishonest Alliance lie! At this point, I can't even say I'm surprised. For a party that claims to promote unity, they sure promote a lot of the opposite with their concentrated disinformation campaign.

The lie I'm talking about is their consistent penchant for omitting 90% of Labor's infrastructure plan when trying to explain away the mess that is DA pork-barrel rail. They claim that Labor doesn't support any kind of government spending, but that couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, Labor's infrastructure plans include investment in all kinds of green energy, from new solar, wind, and nuclear construction to clean public transportation solutions in urban areas. And that's not where it ends - Labor will invest in our education, our inner cities, and our beautiful ecosystems - like the scenic Cuyahoga Valley National Park a couple miles over. Our objection to pork-barrel rail is simple - when the nation faces a deficit, why are we building 500 miles of trillion-dollar HSR in West Texas, while far more lucrative, economically viable corridors like Chicago-New York via Cleveland are bypassed and local public transit solutions are ignored? That's why Labor supports actual improvements in infrastructure like new clean energy construction, repavement of the key arteries that millions of Ohioans rely on, and smart, reasonably priced improvements to local public transit service. And unlike the DA, Labor has a proven record of following through on their legislative promises. That's why we passed bills like the social security expansion and the Red-Green New Deal that invest directly into our communities. That's why we pass tax codes that punish the rich, not the working-class Ohioans that need the money - and the services taxpayer dollars provide - far more.

Ohio has a choice this election, and it's not particularly hard. Vote for a Coalition of Chaos that puts their own political gain and Wall Street bankrollers over working Ohio families, or vote for strong, proven leadership in Labor that will take immediate action to invest in the good people and communities that this state has a massive surplus of. So get out and vote for Labor this December!

OHIO VOTES LABOR: CLEVELAND

Outdoor Rally with 3,400 in attendance, masks required and chairs distanced. Labor gubernatorial candidate Russel Brown sits in one of the chairs on the stage with other Ohio Labor officials where KaiserDave speaks.

Hello Ohioans! Hello...Laborites! Today I conclude my campaign tour of the Buckeye State. I'm so glad to see across you all today the crimson banners and golden logos of the Labor Party. It's important that we get those symbols all over televisions this week when the networks project Ohio's races for the Labor Party. The party of working men and working women, and everybody who puts in a day of honest work. We are the party of our nurses and teachers, miners and transit workers, food service workers and all those at the assembly line. We are the party that, when a policy is presented we are the ones asking the question, will this help working Atlasians? Others may ask, will this boost the stock portfolio of my allies? Will this increase profits of Fortune 500 companies? Will this benefit me politically? But it is Labor who asks...will this help those working men and women? Will this lift a child out of poverty, will this help a single mother pay rent? Will this put a small town back on the map?

I think that's the party we want in government. And folks with your help we will be in government in Ohio very soon. And we will continue to fight for you, just like we did when we work to create millions of green jobs across Ohio, good, high paying, union jobs. These are the type of investments that build communities, that strengthen our towns and families, and it's more jobs, more strength, and more economic security with a LABOR government in Ohio!

The Democrat Alliance says they understand local economies but we know that's not true. Ohio knows! Ohio knows if the DA understood local economies they wouldn't have pushed a crushing Valued Added Tax! Ohio knows if the DA understood local economies they wouldn't have tried to burn millions in cash in aimless rail projects. Ohio knows if the DA understood local economies they wouldn't support massive tax giveaways to the very wealthiest. Ohio knows as well that if the DA fails to capture Ohio this week, the DA will be shown to be completely without policies that will benefit the people.

So folks go out and vote Labor up and down the ballot, and with your help we will elect a government for, of, and by the people!

Thank you Cleveland, and may god keep you all!
