again. Looks like Biden is done. A few more of these and Trump will win like Reagan 84.

I'm telling you he's epically popular. His supporters don't talk to pollsters. Liberals are in for a shock on election night.

A lot of people don't talk to pollsters.

I'd care more about a boat parade in a battleground state like Michigan or Florida than in a safe/likely Trump state like South Carolina.

Surprised but pleased to see BRTD finally coming around. You spent so much time bashing me, LOL. Better late than never.

Either you don't get sarcasm or this is a pretty weak attempt at retaliating with sarcasm of your own.

Yup, I remember this.

That said, in July 2020 I expected Biden to win a much more substantial victory and would have been shocked to learn the tipping point state went for him by less than 1%. For most of the year, I thought it's going to be the 335 map (Rust Belt trio + FL, NC and AZ; only got GA wrong for Biden). I would have been even more shocked to find out the GOP netted 13 House seats and just narrowly fell short of winning the majority back. A 50-50 senate was always reasonable though.

Yeah...the OP was 100% vindicated because Trump was considered likely to lose by at least a semi-decent margin if not a substantial one at this point and the result was virtually identical to 2016, with the election being decided by a percentage point or less in the states that decided the election.

Places where I saw Trump boats:
Arnold, MD – Biden +13.9
Oxford, MD – Biden +13.8

In naval parlance, "a boat has oars".

Owners of big expensive motorboats are obviously not a microcosm of the American electorate.
