Curious to see who McCain selects as his running mate. I would hope for Richard Lugar or Colin Powell.

Well written, as usual. Seems like McCain is handling Iraq more competent, but I still think any invasion would have been a great mistake in the long run despite Saddam being a horrible dictator.

Probably it's not before 2006 Democrats can make gains again and take over congress.

Very well written, as usual. While I'd support Bob Graham in the Democratic primary, I'd be fine with a McCain reelection at the end of the day. Out of these Democrats here, I could see Zell Miller being the weakest candidate because he doesn't appeal to liberals, who wouldn't turn out. He'd win over some social conservatives from McCain, but not nearly enough to make up the losses. For 2008, I'd support Joe Biden or Al Gore (again).

I think McCain would have been relatively progressive for a Republican of his time on the climate issue and I'd support most parts of his proposals as a first step. Whether it would find much Republican support elsewhere is another question.

I wonder whether the Republican Party would still have turned sharply to the right once McCain left the White House after two terms? I'm afraid yes, but who knows for sure?

Nice updates. I'm looking forward to the 2004 Democratic primary. But no doubt McCain wins reelection.

Predicting a Graham win in New Hampshire, by a narrow margin over Feingold.

Anyway, McCain's reelection is assured.

I don't want Uncle Joe to get the nomination because he'd lose to John McCain.

Biden or Gore in 2008! Ideally as a ticket.

Go Uncle Joe, and Rockefeller is an excellent vice presidential pick. Too bad they don't have much of a chance I believe as McCain turns out to be a decent president.

Actually sounds like a common-sense reform plan.

Unfortunately, I haven't been reading this for a while but will do so. I always knew Joe Biden would lose this one quite easily. Maybe he can become Secretary of State or Attorney General in a Democratic administration in 2008 (would support Al Gore here).

I wonder whether Blair serves out his third term here? If not, Brown should call for a snap election in 2007 that he would have won.

Looks pretty good so far. I hope the Democrats win congress in the midterms; McCain probably works well with them.

You would actually expect the Democrats to better, despite McCain being a solid president here. Anyway, keep the good work up.

Hopefully there will be a victorious Al Gore/Barack Obama 2008 Democratic ticket.

I'd probably support John Kerry here, aat least so far. Too bad Al Gore isn't running.

Excellent work! I think it reads pretty realistic and there are aspects of McCain's presidency I'd approve like on Russia.

I always get confused with your colors, I though Kentucky was a Republican pickup.

Otherwise, great work as usual. I'm still undecided about a favorite presidential candidate, though I lean towards Kerry.

I would support Feingold now, especially to stop Trump.

Why not Hillary given it seems your views match your views more with Hillary than Feingold

Depends on the issue at hand, I would certainly agree more with Feingold on campaign finance reform. I just think he'd make better president here than having another President Clinton after the previous one.

Hillary is probably going to win by a similar margin than Obama did IRL 2012.

Will you continue to cover the next presidency then?
