This great land and its government belong to all of the people, not just those on the top. Fairness must govern the day. Now is the time for us to come together and seek the revitalization of democracy, assure that your rights are protected, and make certain that future generations may thrive on a lush and sustainable planet.

Good Evening, Atlasia.

Tonight, I have announced my candidacy for the Senate from the Northeast region.

As a life-long resident of this beautiful corner of our country, it is my sincere hope to be elected as your regional representative this December. Since my re-election to the Senate this past October, I have worked to make good on my pledge to inspire honest to goodness positive change in Nyman, introducing an array of legislative proposals that seek to bring about a more just and egalitarian society. Working hand-in-hand with my colleagues, we have passed initiatives aimed at increasing the availability of affordable homes and re-establishing a degree of accountability and transparency from corporations.

I termed objectives like these "Pillars of Progress" in my October Campaign. Our job is to serve by ensuring the government works for you, first and foremost. That means strengthening public schools, expanding medical care for all, standing on the side of labor, and combating those forces both home and abroad which seek to do us harm. It also means staunch opposition to reactionary ideals like stripping funds from students, inflating the prison population, and allowing dogmatic beliefs to endanger the lives of patients. In this session of the legislature, and those yet to come, let us work to correct course and bring about a genuine Congress of the people.

Solidarity.

Good Evening, Atlasia.

Earlier this year, our country narrowly avoided an internal conflict the likes of which has not been seen for over a century. Those of us who championed the unbreakable Union of the Regions staved off the horrors of war or the defiling of our Constitution. Thanks to the brave and unrelenting action of a select few patriots, and the support of you, the people, our nation once again proved its awe-inspiring resilience.

Atlasia today stands at yet another critical juncture, one in which the future of our country rests. The question is whether we progress forward under the banner of egalitarian justice or slip backwards. It is pivotal that this government takes action to boost wages for struggling, working families in this time of high inflation. We must establish an active housing authority to bring about an end to poverty and homelessness. Medical care, including reproductive care, ought to be available for all regardless of region. This government must stand unwavering on the side of labor in opposition to the owning classes whose economic dominance is largely unchallenged.

These pillars of progress are essential for Atlasia if we wish to proceed to a just future. It is the duty of elected representatives to seek out solutions to the problems that affect you and I. And yet, a sizable near majority of this Senate affixed its gaze on some of the most absurd and openly reactionary proposals to disgrace the halls of Congress. Desperate pleas from the people for meaningful action have gone unanswered. Instead, the headlines emerging from Congress catalog the right-wing quest to reward dangerous conspiracy theorists, legalize discrimination of LGBT+ individuals under the guise of religious freedom, arbitrarily ban internet pornography, and cruelly force women to carry to term severely disabled fetuses.

We must sweep out this Know Nothing "SNP" band from Nyman. I ask for your support in my own candidacy, but likewise call upon you to cast your vote for fellow Labor, Democratic Alliance, and Peace candidates who stand assuredly against this thoroughly rotten sect which has sickened Congress. Electing reactionaries will lead to reactionary laws. The only way we can bring about a sufficient mandate for progress is by voting them out. Then you will see a worthwhile Congress that will earnestly work to remedy the compounding, and unaddressed, crises that are inflecting Atlasia.

Solidarity.
