Sentience is hard

We can all agree that it's flawed in different ways, but we've certainly come a long way. Our Founders knew this themselves, which is why they strived for a more perfect Union.

I agree, but I think coming a long way is not good enough. I think a lot of leftists lose sight of the goal, which is to make America better, and right wingers lose sight of the purpose, which is to improve the lives of Americans. If that makes sense.
