Suburban mixed progressive areas in America where the races seem to get along?

I know of Maplewood/South Orange/Montclair in Essex County, N.J.

Obviously. There's nothing that special about them.

Most of the SF Bay Area. Racially diverse (generally), politically and culturally progressive suburbs and cities.

My hometown of West Orange can count. It’s heavily Democratic, but a little more working class than the three towns mentioned in the top post. Its black population is less affluent than the others. It’s also lack a major college like Seton Hall or Montclair State. However, Trump did worse than previous Republicans here and Sherrill had the best Democratic performance in a generation here.

University City, Missouri.

And it should be "ARE there other liberal areas," .... not "IS there."

I imagine suburban Sacramento would be a good bet. The areas north and south of the center, not the "long tail" stretching out to the east. Elk Grove in particular seems to be almost exactly what you're looking for.
