Marijuana legalisation affects me directly while death penalty doesn't and hopefully never wills. But i'm pro marijuana legalisation and anti-death penalty but in favour of tough sentences against rapists and murderers and repeated crimes with victims. Victimless crimes are no crimes at all.

Marijuana (pro legalization, anti death penalty)

Marijuana criminalization and the death penalty are both completely abhorrent, but the former is much more pressing given how rare the death penalty is now.

Marijuana legalization as long as that includes a mechanism for clearing the records of people previously convicted. Otherwise, the death penalty.

marijuana, I think all the drugs should be legalized.

I don't think the death penalty should technically exist, but if someone does something that is so bad they deserve to die the victims of their crime or the families of the victims should put the perpetrator down with a MAC-10 like a backhand before law enforcement even arrives if possible.

Surprisingly difficult question for me, actually.

I would say death penalty (oppose) is very slightly more important to me, but it's a small difference.

Marijuana should be punishable by death penalty.

Opposition to marijuana legalization is more important to me than an ambivalent stance on the death penalty (generally opposed, but support it for "irredeemable" people, such as serial killers, terrorists, and other absolutely "irredeemable" people.)

Oppose marijuana legalization and support the death penalty. The death penalty is the more important issue.

Probably marijuana, just because it affects so many more people. I support legalization even though I really don't care whether or not people are allowed to use it while I passionately believe the death penalty ought to be abolished. However, mass incarceration, gang violence, and enormous cost of fighting the war on drugs which accompanies criminalizing marijuana use is collectively a greater injustice than the death penalty.

I agree. Preventing people from growing the Bad Plant That I Don't Like is much, much more important than the debate surrounding state-sanctioned murder.

Abolishing the death penalty is far more important to me

Abolishing the death penalty! I find it unacceptable. I don't have a position on marijuana, I don't really care.

marijuana legalization affects way more people (by a factor of like 8 or something), so that, obviously.  Not to mention, the death penalty issue almost exclusively directly affects really really sh**tty people.

Would be interested to hear about the affects of Marijuana legalisation in Colorado say, on the enthusiasm of the workforce.

My workplaces have drug and alcohol testing, so even if it was legal, I could not return to my 17yo youthful dream of getting stoned with my girlfriend.

All drugs should be legalised, I don't have strong opinion on the death penalty

In and of itself, the death penalty is much worse. But the criminalization of marijuana has ruined countless (mostly black) lives and is currently harming more people than the death penalty is, given how rare it is.
