It has never voted democratic for president, but it is relatively democratic for other offices. Trump only won it by 4% in 2016, and with a (potentially) competitive senate election, now
would be the perfect storm for it to flip.

It's very likely to flip for the Senate election, as Kelly won the county by a large margin. I'm not certain about it flipping for President. We'll have to see.

If it happens, it will be the first time the county votes Dem for President since Kansas became a state, though, so that would be cool to see.

People are jumping the gun on this county for some reason, the 2018 results does not justify this. Trump +2

Trump only won Riley County by about 3.5 points in 2016, and failed to obtain an absolute majority (carrying it 46-42.5%). He did much worse here than Mitt Romney, who won the county by 12 points four years previously (54.5-42.5%). If the majority of Johnson voters go for Biden, then he will flip the county (which I think is a strong possibility). I would say this county is a Tossup.

Trump, but I accidentally voted Biden in the poll.

Categorically, I don't believe Biden will do as well as Clinton in rural college towns.
