Maybe, but Clinton also probably handles the coronavirus very well and as a result gets a large approval bump. Which leads me to think, Gardner would stay in his Senate seat, which without Trump he has a semi-decent chance of keeping. Clinton is probably headed for slightly better than a Obama 2012-type victory in this scenario (around a 4-5 point PV win), but without having to take the polarizing votes on the AHCA, Kavanaugh, etc., Gardner would probably be fine.
