I get people (both like this and of a more libertarian bent) who try to break away from the federal government. But this particular one has had a MeToo scandal within the first two days of its existence and has some rapper dude walking around with an AK to "maintain the peace". I feel bad for the people living in apartments there, having to go through checkpoints and whatnot, who are afraid to speak up.
I'll credit this with being the only ballsy thing the American Left has done in a long time. But anyway, I'm not a fan.
