I have a question - does this abolish the penny or is the penny already abolished in Atlasia?

It was already abolished.

Then why do we need Section 3?

Nay. I see no need for Section 3. I also an puzzled why the Speaker opened up a final vote when I had an outstanding question on the floor. Had I not received a satisfactory answer by today, I would have made a motion to amend the bill by striking Section 3.

Did you intend your question to be an objection to the final vote motion?

This is one of those bills that gives a non-playable entity some ultimatum that will probably be forgotten about before the set deadline rolls around.

Abstain.

Yes. I apologize for not making it clear, but it wasn't clear that there was a real motion on the floor either. It said "If no one else has anything to add, i wanna motion for a final vote on the bill."

I had something to add. So I thought by adding it, we wouldn't move to a final vote.

In that case I will cancel the final vote and return to debate, apologies for the misunderstanding.

I ask for a representative to object to the motion for a vote to consider the following amendment.

Quote
Section 2. Coin composition revision

(a) In general. —

The Atlasian Mint shall work to revise the composition of the nickel ($0.05 coin) and change its manufacturing process and composition in such a way that the manufacturing cost of the coin falls below such coins nominal value.

1. The manufacturing cost of all Atlasian circulation coins (not including commemorative or bullion coinage) must be below that of the coins nominal value.

2.  The Atlasian Mint shall be authorized to alter the metallic composition of Atlasian coins as necessary so long as the composition is still metallic in nature.

(b) Date. —

Subsection(a) shall be completed before July 31 of 2021.

Nay. We should first consider the latest amendment before the final vote takes place.
