Yes, the unemployment rate was near 11 percent during the Recession,  we are at 20% unemployment,  double what it was in 2008. Also, Trump is gaffe prone like Palin, and he is doing well, in polling, due to fact Ds already defeated Palin in 2008. Trump was endorsed by Palin, in 2016 over Cruz, likewise, Boehner who resigned was endorsed by Palin in 2010, too.
