I understand that once a segment of protesters splinter off and start becoming rioters, damaging property and setting fires, it becomes a mob overtaken by madness and operating on blind rage, but even still, I'm baffled how the CNN headquarters became a target. Makes absolutely zero sense.

I've seen some of my LGBT friends on Facebook posting reminders that the Stonewall Riots were the birth of the gay rights movement and they insist that if it weren't for those riots, we would not be where we are today.

It certainly couldn't be because protest groups are regularly heavily infiltrated by law enforcement seeking to discredit them. 

Yes, it's a convenient excuse. But part of the reason it's credible is because it keeps happening.

Yes, because Darren Wilson acted in self-defense!

I did not appreciate his smug and arrogant television appearance after the grand jury decision but the grand jury cleared him (even if the prosecution acted very strangely, almost used the grand jury as a trail) and the DOJ cleared Wilson.

George Floyd's murder had absolutely no excuse and there is no defense to it.
