Any one of the 6 options is influential in their own way.  Which one would you want to be?

Justice. As an eighteen year old, I could feasibly spend seventy years on the Court. And if I ever resign, I could become the most prominent figure in the country. Most Justices are too old once they retire to take advantage of that fact.

Firmly entrenched Senate majority leader who has dirt on everyone to the point where I can barely be held accountable for taking my duties seriously.

President, easily.

Being the ninth Justice of the Supreme Court with no real legal mind to support me would render me powerless.

Being Speaker of the House would mean dealing with an ever-changing caucus and often being at the mercy of the president's capabilities.

Meanwhile, the Presidency gives you so many transformative powers and the ability to build a nation in your vision. It would be extremely hard to pass that up.

The Senate should probably be abolished and the media is largely a horse of cretins appealing to the lowest common denominator, so those are out of the question.

SCOTUS justices are completely unaccountable once in office and almost invariably serve until voluntary retirement or death, so obviously that.

I really don’t get picking something else. A former SCOTUS Justice could become President, pretty easily*, and feasibly be reappointed to the SCOTUS.

*Compared to any of the other four options

I voted talk show most popular one. I become rich and famous and don't have to be the bearer of bad news. I'll be the shapiro type.

As for a position in government. I'll take neither of those listed and take the Vice presidency. Either I become the defacto president like Dick cheney or if its a traditional role who cares, I get prime real estate with an office in the west wing, sit in on every important meeting like economic and foreign policy. You get the credit if your president is loved like joe biden does, and all the negative stuff people blame the president not vp. Best job is the VP

SCOTUS, of course. President is tempting, because you might be able to appoimnt two oor three our even four Justices, but I still go with being one of the nine.

I would be a terrible SCOTUS member, but I went with "Editor of the Most Visited News Site in America", although POTUS is very tempting to take.
