This shows that at least Trump's re-election group (if not Trump) recognizes the seriousness of his situation at this moment--5 months before Election Day.  OH and IA need to be put away well before the election for him to have a chance.

OH and IA were always going to be swing states ...

Except for 2016, when Hillary was such a scarecrow to rural men.

I hope you're right. We could really use that Senate seat in Iowa.

I think IA will be quite close this year, but Ernst will be re-elected by 2-5%.

Trump will crush Biden in Iowa. Ohio will be a little closer but he's favored there.

I tend to think this too but it says a lot that they're spending that much money there

This goes to show that Trump does have some politically astute people in his orbit. Defense is the way to go, yet I can't imagine that Trump will keep it that way, his ego won't allow it and if those people want to keep their jobs they'll have to comply with his delusional whims.

I wonder what kind of ads they'll be putting up though. How do you polish this turd in a way that's completely honest? Are they just going to air more of those embarrassing meme videos of Trump's face photoshopped onto a movie protagonist?

Weird that they think IA and OH are competitive but not GA.

Ernst probably beat Greenfield since King loses the primary in IA 4. The Ds will lose their boogeyman for 2020 in IA

Dems dont need OH but since Portman is up in 2022, if Ds win Ohio, in 2020, then it proves that Portman isnt an unbeatable titan, if Tim Ryan decides to run. NE OH and Hamilton county have 18 percent AA

Portman's approvals have declined
