If Trump has some kind of big convention this is going to backfire spectacularly for him.  Does he really think his MAGA cult rallies screaming and not social distancing without masks on full display for America (most of whom will probably be home and bored and watching) is going to make him and his party look good to the average person?   It's not going to help him with a single non-MAGA cult member. 

Trump used to complain that the media didn't cover his rallies enough.  He's lucky they didn't.  If they showed thousands of his creepy supporters acting the way they typically do it would have backfired then too.  I don't think a lot of people in the burbs realized how bad they are.

Wow all these Republican politicians competing to be the pied piper who leads their flock to the emergency room.  It's fairly sickening.
