The tweets completely blindsided party officials and those involved in planning the convention, who have repeatedly argued that health and safety will come first. The officials have insisted planning for the convention is on track.

I don't see how they could pull off a full scale RNC in another city with this kind of notice, but am wondering if some kind of downsized version would be doable (and if NC doesn't let them do even that, if they would move elsewhere).
