Part of Republican National Convention will be held in Jacksonville (UPDATE: No it won't)

Trump wants to sicken and kill as many of his fellow Republicans as possible:

I really don't see this convention happening if Trump sticks to his guns here.  At least not in North Carolina.

The Republican National Committee is warning Gov. Cooper that he has until Wednesday (June 3) to comply with their demands for a traditional 'full' convention, or they are pulling out:

I think he's going to go Orlando since he absolutely cannot lose Florida.

Why must they absolutely go to Orlando?  Jacksonville is the largest city in Florida with a Republican mayor and a Republican-dominated city council, and since it looks like they are settling on it as the backup site for their convention, surely that can do just as good a job as Orlando would have done in shoring up Florida for November.

Trump should go all in and embrace the Confederacy given how far he already has gone.  It would be a fine way of giving the middle-finger to all those stiff-necked liberals demanding political correctness, and showing BLM and Antifa what he really thinks of them.  As he campaigns in his safe space in towns and cities across the South, he should humor the locals by standing reverently at attention as Confederate reenactors march by him:



And then as he walks to the podium to give his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in Jacksonville, Florida, he should have a live band play Dixie:

Trump is going to cancel his convention speech in Jacksonville too because he can't get the packed audience he wants the whole world to see.  I'm calling it right here....
