Good. He can’t campaign on a return to normalcy after the pandemic. Hopefully he doesn’t lose his image as a moderate too much. You can be still somewhat "moderate" in appearance, but still campaign on bold change, and Democrats would be well-served to figure out a way to do that.

Yes, that's why Warren will be Veep. He needs Warren to shake up the political system

Then give her an economic cabinet position so she can do more.

I couldn't agree more with this statement.

You think Secretary of the Treasury or something does more than VP? Not anymore, at least. Pence, Cheney, and Biden himself have all been pretty influential for Vice Presidents. The office isn’t as useless as it used to be. The President can and now often does delegate a lot of responsibility to the VP. Plus, at Biden’s age, he’s especially likely to do that and whoever the VP is will be next in line to be president if he doesn’t run again.

Good you mentioned age, Warren is in her 70's and that might not be the best thing for Joe considering he is almost 80. It's unlikely she will be picked for VP for that reason, the question is either give her a cabinet position or keep her in the Senate. I think she could be able to do more about the economy as the Secretary of Treasury rather than Senator, but it is her pick.

This was a mistake of an idea from the get-go. It's sad that it took a pandemic for the obvious to take hold.

I think it was more of a strategy for the primary than the general and it actually worked... soo

That remains to be seen. Until one the 78,000 or 219,000 flips, it's certainly not guaranteed.
