Would Jones at least have a better chance of making the runoff than Mathews?

Why is Mathews largely not seen as a very good professor?

Because his classes are too easy and he spends most of the time ranting about his own political views. Which is probably why he is at a community college and not a real University

You'd have to ask him. I'd say coming in 4th in a D+14 district doesn't bode well for him.

Should orange in San Bernardino County be called CA-32 and blue should be called CA-08 for consistency?

Which districts on this map are the rare ones that would mostly have D vs. D runoffs even when the seat isn稚 open?

Basically anything over D+20, same as current. Problem is primary turnout is so inconsistent year to year that literally anything could happen. Gary Miller won Pete Aguilar's district in 2012 because it was an R vs R run off even though the district leans Democratic. And there were multiple fears of lockouts in OC that never materialized at the congressional level.

Would CA-47 have mostly Democratic victories, but with D vs. R runoffs most of the time?
