If this race is won by the dems it will be on Cooper's coattails not Biden's.

that being said I don't think it should be called lean D just yet.

Both are weak candidates; with that in mind it likely defaults to the gubernatorial results.

it didn't in 2016. That being said I think the LG dem trails Cooper by less than 2-3 points

I think as long as Cooper wins relatively comfortably (basically as long as it isn't a very close race), the Democratic LG nominee wins too.

I agree and with what polling is looking like Cooper will do that
