I don't think the national environment has a huge impact on Governors' reelection chances unless they are extremely polarizing. Baker, Scott, Hogan, and Sununu all had no issues winning reelection despite the horrible environment. The only incumbents who were likely done in by the environments in either 2014 or 2018 were Pat Quinn and Scott Walker. Or on the flip side, the environment in 2014 likely saved Scott and Brownback.

So as of now, the list is probably similar irrespective of who is President:
