Governor Reubin Askew (D-FL) / Governor Jerry Brown (D-CA) - 382 EVs, 52%
President Gerald R. Ford (R-MI) / Senator Bob Dole (R-KS) - 156 EVs, 45%

He arguably would have won by more in picking Jerry Brown.

My sense is Askew wins by more than Carter. He would have been a better prez.
