Followed by Silverstone, UK.

Quote
Formula 1 is already planning to start the season in July at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. It would be possible that two races will take place at the same time and that seems to be slowly but surely becoming a reality. Especially now that Helmut Marko of Red Bull Racing has confirmed that it is almost a done deal.

Two weekends

Against the Austrian radio station Ö3 Helmut Marko has indicated that there will be two races and that in two weekends. It will be a race on Sunday 5 July and a race on Sunday 12 July, Marko tells the radio station. The races will both be held without an audience.

Middle of summer seems like the time to do it if the numbers of cases have fallen.

All the teams (drivers, employees etc.) + media + track workers have arrived (ca. 3.000 in total) under a tight medical security protocol and the race on Sunday will go ahead as planned.

Tomorrow: first 2 training sessions
Saturday: qualifying
Sunday (3pm): race

The weather for the weekend looks great.
