Cox is ahead in the Republican Gov primary with the Early Vote.

Michael Peroutka, 2004 Constitution Party Pres. candidate, is doing well in the race for Republican nomination for AG.

Yep Safe D now. Schultz might’ve had a chance but Cox is not fitting for MD at all.

AP calls it for Cox. What a humiliation for Schulz and Hogan.

And with that they lost their only opportunity to maintain the governors mansion.

Expecting a similar dynamic in Massachusetts. Even moderate voters simply don't care that much about the outgoing Republican's endorsement.

So unless I am completely insane, looks like a DEM-GOV pickup in '22?

PUB dude sounds like a total wingnut, and diff to see how he can pull this off at all even if it is a "Wave Year" election.

He is and also is an anti-vaxxer, qanon, and tried to impeach Hogan among other things. He is similar to Mastriano (Whom both endorsed each other in their primaries).

He's effectively doa in the fall, he also per WaPo only has like 188k in Cash on Hand atm

MD was supposed to flip in 2018 Ben Jealous ran a strong campaign but Hogan is a Chris Shays R not a partisan R like Collins or Sununu that's why polls are closing in on SUNUNU, Collins blocked Voting Rights, he has been very critical he represents the Eisenhower/Rockefeller wing of the GOP party, that's why now MD Gov is gonna flip

So, Maryland Republicans have basically decided that they don't want to win the gubernatorial election. It's always easier to denounce others as "Marxists" and "election stealers" than to actually govern yourself, I guess. It's the easy way out.

There are 180,000 absentee ballots to be count. Anything could still happen.
