LBJ: Not perfect, but FF overall
Nixon: lean HP, but policywise not that bad, but yeah Watergate...
Ford: lean HP for pardoning Nixon but giving him a pass.
Carter: FF
Reagan: FF person, HP on domestic politics. Will vote FF for being a strong leader on foreign policy.
George HW Bush: slight FF
Clinton: HP on domestic politics, but esp. personality and Lewinsky. He's the reason i still have a tiny bit of respect for Hillary.
George W. Bush: HP for Iraq, without it, it could have been tilt FF/HP
Obama: huge FF
Donald Trump: hard one. lean HP, but less worse than Bush / Clinton. I still believe he has good intentions and is presenting himself as worse than he is, he has principles that he abandoned, and some I do respect (no alcohol use). He's a narcissist though, but who isn't. The difference is that he doesn't hide it. I'm going to give him a pass and vote FF.

All HPs. Carter comes closest to being okay but some of the actions of his presidency are tough to forgive

HPs: Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Obama, Trump
FFs: Ford, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr.

All HPs seem unambiguous. Only Reagan seems like an unambiguous FF, though; the other four were all close calls.

All the Republicans are HP except Ford, who's neutral. All Democrats are FFs (not perfect by any means, and some of them are outright bad people, but they still did more good than harm in the grand scheme of things) except Clinton, who's a vile HP.

Johnson: mixed, personally seems like an HP, not great at leadership, Vietnam was terrible, but domestic policy was massive FF. Lean FF.
Nixon: antisemite and crook, HP. However, his policy ironically is the best out of all the Republicans on the list.
Ford: mostly neutral, kinda meh, but I'll give him tilt FF in the grand scheme of things.
Carter: meh President, but I'll give him FF.
Reagan- solid HP
Bush Sr.- HP, had some bright spots
Clinton- lean HP, had an overall good policy, appointed great judges and tried to pass progressive legislation, but yeah... personality
Bush Jr.- massive HP for homophobia, Iraq, economic and education policy
Obama- solid FF, both as a person and overall on policy.
Trump- massive HP

LBJ: Strong FF, best president out of these ten.
Richard Nixon: Tilt FF, he had some good policies and did improve relations with China. Still the whole corruption thing is problematic.
Gerald Ford: Spineless, milquetoast GOPer. Tilt HP.
Jimmy Carter: Great person who got elected at the most unfortunate time. Obviously not an effective leader. Still a Strong FF.
Ronald Reagan: A deranged charismatic sociopath who started the US on the course to its inevitable fall. Strong HP
George HW Bush: A decent man who had some good ideas, especially before he became Reagan’s VP. His presidency was also underrated. FF.
Bill Clinton: Another charismatic sociopath. He had some bright spots so I will give him a tilt FF.
George Bush: A pretty bad president who made some bad choices. He had some bright spots, but not many. HP.
Barack Obama: A genuinely good and effective president who doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Strong FF.
Donald Trump: A third charismatic sociopath who also happens to be one of the worst leaders in American history. Reagan set the US on its inevitable path to failure, but Trump solidified it. Strong HP isn’t enough.

Lyndon B. Johnson: Massive FF. A great president who did a lot more good than bad. He was an effective leader who knew how to get stuff done. Also, he could be pretty rough, but I have no doubt his heart was in the right place. He was committed to everyone having a fair shot in life. I'm glad he's receiving more credit in recent years from scholars than before. He's certainly one of the most tragic presidents.

Richard Nixon: Honestly, both. The bad is well known, but Nixon was also a smart politician with strategic thinking. I actually think he had good intentions, but was plagued with paranoia. I think the criticism for Watergate and interference in 1968 peace talks is fair, but he also deserves credit for accomplishments in domestic and foreign policy. I find Nixon as one of the most interesting figures in history.

Gerald Ford: Massive FF. A decent man through and through. He was also a competent leader in congress and the White House, who tried his best for the greater good. A severely underrated president, who would have deserved a full term in his own right more than most others.

Jimmy Carter: Overall FF, massive FF as person. His presidency had some bright spots like Camp David Accords, but overall he was unable to carry out the job by a lack of leadership and ability to get things done. He was too much guided by idealism instead of pragmatism.

Ronald Reagan: HP. I don't think he was a bad guy, but he was missguided on most issues. He cared too little for working folks and the poor, and made the rich even richer. Despite some epic failures such as Iran Contra, he actually set some positive marks in foreign policy, especially in his second term. His defense policy was irresponsible, though. He spent way too much here.

George Bush: FF. He was a smart guy with a sound foreign policy. His domestic record his very mixed; better than Reagan but nowhere near great. I actually liked him better before 1980 when he was more of an establishment moderate Republican from the Northeast.

Bill Clinton: Massive FF! Although he was wrong on some issues, I consider his presidency a success. When Bubba left office, America was at peace, had a growing economy and middle class as well as a budget surplus. I don't have something against him as person. Yeah, he had affairs, but there are no credible claims he actually abused someone. Not great anyway, but I think he's entitled to a private life.

George W. Bush: HP. His presidency was a disaster across the board. Two wars, that destabilized a whole region for years, thousands of American lives lost, billions in debt; all that on top of a stock market crash and the utter incompetence during Katrina. However, I think he's a good guy as person. Dubya should have become a painter instead of politician. Obviously, he's much better at that.

Barack Obama: Massive FF! Smart, charismatic and fundamentally decent guy. His presidency has some low points, but overall was a major success. Saved the economy, passed healthcare, Paris Accords, Iran Deal, Cuban Thaw.

Donald Trump: Extreme HP. Needless to add much more. Not just terrible as politician, he's also a massive scumbag as person.

That's not true. He wasn't a racist. Yes, he used the n-word in private, but it was a different time on terms of language. I mean, it's not just that he fought for three major civil rights and voting rights bills and nominated the first African American Supreme Court justice and cabinet secretary, he also stood before congress and preached "we shall overcome", the song of the civil rights movement. He was less committed before his presidency, but it's worth noting LBJ was one of just two (I guess?) southern Democrats, who didn't sign the Southern Manifesto. There are also private tapes and public speeches that prove otherwise. Especially in some post-presidencial speeches and interviews.

Johnson: Massive HP personally, good on domestic policy but we can’t just forget about Vietnam.
Nixon: Massive HP, even if his domestic policy wasn’t nearly as atrocious as more recent Republicans.
Ford: Lean HP for pardoning Nixon, but tame by modern Republican standards.
Carter: FF personally, mixed to Lean HP as President.
Reagan: Colossal HP.
Bush Sr.: HP, not sure why he gets a pass for his part in Iran Contra or some of his statements (like the one about atheists.)
Clinton: HP as President, Massive HP as a person.
W: Colossal HP, “nice guy” my left nut.
Obama: FF as a person, mixed as President.
Trump: Colossal HP, no explanation needed.

LBJ: FF. The best president since FDR. Very very effective.
Nixon: HP, but skilled
Ford: neutral, don't really have much of an opinion
Carter: massive FF. Would've been an all time great president if he replaced say, Clinton or W Bush.
Reagan: massive HP. Most of the problems in American politics today stem from him.
HW Bush: HP but not as bad as some of the others
Clinton: started out alright, progressed to HP who got worse as time went on
Bush: HP, not much to be said there
Obama: FF, I won't worship him but he's probably the best president since LBJ
Trump (forgot originally): HP, he's bad, not good

Hurricane Katrina? The Patriot Act? No Child Left Behind? Habeas Corpus? The economy?

Not sure what exactly makes him a FF even if we “don’t count” him having the blood of thousands on his hands for oil profit.
