That moment you are so used to atlas colors that the normal ones seem wrong

I think the reason why the normal color palate feels wrong is because we're using the Atlas' electoral map maker, and when we see maps that were made using this tool, we expect them to have Democratic red and Republican blue. Hence why they don't feel wrong when looking at mainstream maps used elsewhere, like ones from news outlets.

Yeah probably. I mean I don't mind in other sites like 270 or Wikipedia but mainly on atlas
