I can't imagine that there'd be any discernible impact on either the primary or general results.

This would have about as much of an effect on the election as any other national tragedy had, sans 9/11. Zilch.

If Sandy Hook took place in October 2012, it would be an October Surprise and changed the course Of that year’s election.
