I saw Wildhogs, pretty good. Kind of like City Slickers.

I also saw Patton for the first time... and it might have just knocked Gladiator off its number 1 spot for me. Great movie.

I just saw Blades of Glory. Not exactly Oscar material, but hilarious nonetheless.

Indeed it wasn't but still I had high hopes that the film would be funny and enjoyable and it more than lived up to them.

I also saw Shooter last week and.... lets just say it wasn't very good and only somewhat enjoyable... This was mostly because of Kate Mara who is very easy on the eyes... I mean you could peace together the fugitive and the sentinal and make this move. Wasn't anything special.

Movies I've seen recently:

Superstar: Saw this on comedy central, very funny movie I enjoyed it.
Spider Man 3: No where near as well done as the first probably the worst of the series. I felt as if they made this one and the last one so that if worst came to worst they could end the series.
Airplane!: Fantastic!
Blood Diamond: Hard film to watch. It was nicely done but when I watch a movie I don't want a political informercial which is what I felt like it was half the time.
Shrek The Third: Saw this yesterday.... Like the Spiderman Series this third part is the worst of the lot. The first was very funny, the second was average but had a very funny final 20 minutes, this one had no big laughs just minor ones...

It did indeed.... Slow as heck, confusing and just plain old wierd to boot. It is pretty sad when the scene at the end of the credits was better than 90% of the entire movie.

I saw Surfs Up last week. Pretty good for an animated movie and one of the better ones I've seen for awhile.

Very well done as usual for Pixar.

Agreed.

I saw License To Wed, Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix, and C.S.A. The Confederate States of America.

License To Wed, imagine The Office sans Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson and Steve Carrell and not very funny. There were points there that were supposed to make you laugh but it just wasn't that funny. They could have put the gaffes together to form a hour and a half movie and it would have been better. If you watch The Office though its neat to see that 3 members of the cast have cameos. Speaking of cameos the best part of the film is with Brian Baumgartner (you know the bald accountant on the office).

5.5/10

Harry Potter 5: Well I must say this film is up there with HP 3 as one of the better ones in the series and a vital part of the series. At least it isn't like 1 and especially 2 which really aren't all that essential. There was a good battle scene at the end and would have been better if it was longer. I'd have to say out of the blockbusters this year that have been released it was better than PoC 3, on par with Spider Man but it certainly doesn't give you that feel good feeling that Transformers does.

7/10

CSA: Wow, that was something else... The film is a mockumentary of the history of the C.S.A. I missed the very beginning but needless to say the South won and it assumes that slaves remained slaves and that it became part of American culture. It includes fake commercials that I can simply say are vile and disturbing. Anyway. in this there is even a cold war between the U.S. and Canada... But, I must say I think they go out of the way to make a point and I honestly can't say that it would be very realistic for the C.S.A. to keep slavery around to the present day it even suggests that to reintroduce slavery the CSA allowed northerners to forgo special taxes if they took slaves .

5.5/10:All I have to say is wow, that was a horror movie... A poor, unrealistic horror movie that for some odd reason keeps you watching.

Live Free or Die Hard: Much better than I thought it would be. One of the more enjoyable movies I've seen this year.

Young Frankenstein: Good film, but not one of the best movies of all time. Still enjoyable.

Vertigo: The first hour was fantastic. The latter portion was not all that great imho. The ending was sudden and I found it to be lacking. Notorious was a much better film with a better ending.

Starship Troopers.

Wow. What a horrible, horrible movie. And I even like science fiction and sex.

Wow, you suck.

No, its a bad movie.

I saw Jumanji, this is the second time I've seen the film but the first time I watched it from start to finish, very well done movie and probably the most enjoyable family oriented action movie I've seen.

I just saw Catch and Release.... Horrid, horrid little movie. Gad. Makes you hate the characters you like makes you like the characters you're supposed to hate and in the end you just overall hat the film.

The Bourne Ultimatum
Great movie, except for Julia Stiles don't care for her much, but other than that a great movie. I thought the first was fantastic and then the second one disappointed me but this one redeemed the series and sets the stage for what will hopefully be The Bourne Legacy, the 4th book in the Bourne series. I just hope they can go back to the original director of the Bourne Identity since that was the best and 2 and 3 have suffered from the stupid shaky camera treatment in both films.

Good Luck Chuck:
What the Chuck was Jessica Alba thinking? This was basically pron.... One of the smuttiest and least funny movies I've seen in a long time. It has been forever since I took out the negative numbers for a movie (never done it for a review on a film since I've been on this forum) but I give it a negative ten out of ten. Bad.

Mr. Woodcock:
After that turd of a movie, referring to Good Luck Chuck, Poseidon would have rocked. So I thought this film was quite enjoyable. Kind of like when you've been forced to eat something awful like liver and then you taste something average like a McDonald's Hamburger. Mr. Woodcock was at least funny at times and had it's classic moments. 7/10

Let's see what have I seen recently.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall: The nudity was very unnecessary... Overall a funny film.

Baby Mama: Really good movie. Its nice to see women focused comedy that is actually funny without being an all out chick flick. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were great.

Iron Man: It was great. Paltrow actually didn't look pale for a change and actually looked attractive. Great Super Hero movie overall. Not as good as Spider Man 1 or Batman Begins but it nears that level.

Raiders of the Lost Ark: Very enjoyable. I had never sat down and watched the whole thing but it was great.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom: Wow, that seemed more like a nightmare with Indiana Jones....

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: AWESOME! My favorite one of the series by far.

Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Crystal Skull (Or Indiana Jones and the Quest for More Money): Actually I liked this one a lot. It's probably my second favorite of the series. Yes I know, what can I say? I like to go see a movie and relax and enjoy the ride.

What's so bad about the Temple of Doom?  It's not on the level of Raiders or Crusade, but it's still good, in my opinion.

I know that many would agree with you there. I should preface my critiques with the fact that they are just my opinion.

For me the whole heart and mind control things in Temple of Doom were just far too bizarre. In addition I found the female lead to be very annoying, although she wasn't bad to look at. I just feel that it really could have been a lot better.

Saw Die Hard on A&E. It was one of the best action movies I've seen.
