Wall-E. It was awesome. I highly recommend.

Though, if you do see it, see it with a girl or your family. It's kind of weird seeing it with a bunch of guys.

In Bruges. Classic dark comedy. Definitely good.

Blue State

kinda gay, but surprisingly non-deterministic for a movie of it's ilk.  6.5/10

Southland Tales

Had some decent moments, but the whole thing was basically Richard Kelly screaming, "Look at me! I'm so full of myself!"

Killing Zoe

I taped this back in '99-'00 accidently when we had "Starz" and "Encore" and I watched it and remembered it was a classic bank robbery gone bad bloodbath, and decided to rent it again. Found out Tarantino helped produce it...and even though some parts are dubbed in French...most of it is in English and American star Eric Stoltz stars, good flick.

Scarlet Street (1945) by Fritz Lang. Very good actually, but depressing.

What's so bad about the Temple of Doom?  It's not on the level of Raiders or Crusade, but it's still good, in my opinion.

I know that many would agree with you there. I should preface my critiques with the fact that they are just my opinion.

For me the whole heart and mind control things in Temple of Doom were just far too bizarre. In addition I found the female lead to be very annoying, although she wasn't bad to look at. I just feel that it really could have been a lot better.

Not nearly as good as the first 2.

Hancock.

Better than I expected, though it kind of felt disjointed and I didn't really like the second half as much. But Will Smith and Jason Bateman are awesome as usual.

Can you give a plot outline without giving anything away? Who is Hancock...what year is it...what is the situation? Thanks.

Wall-E.  Which was lovely, except I couldn't get into the romance, the main characters being robots.  And the second half of the film was not nearly as good as the first.  Overall, another big A/A- to Pixar, who has yet to do any wrong in my eyes (though I haven't seen Cars).

1. Ratatouille
2. The Incredibles
3. Toy Stoy 2
4. Finding Nemo
5. Wall-E
6. Toy Story
7. A Bug's Life
8. Monster's, Inc.

That certainly wouldn't be the weak link in the studio's work, if anything is.

Really?  I thought the plot was almost painfully standard.  The others were at least a little less predictable.  I saw Cars as the stereotypical Disney movie but with cars.

Yeah, I thought Cars was the worse Pixar movie.
