Because if there is one thing we desperately needed, it was another California poll.

Woah. It'll probably be closer than this, but I think Joe does better than Hillary.

This is the second CA poll in a row to show Trump under 30 in California (AtlasIntel showd him under 30 in early March). Last time he registered a number this low in the state before these was August of 2019.

I hope Biden wins by 50 and all remaining Republican holdouts flee the state.

Hillary only won this by 30, so this is in line with a 10-point national lead for Biden.

If I glossed over this correctly, that would be the most lopsided margin of victory for a candidate in the state since Harding won it in a landslide in 1920, and it would be the highest percent of the vote any candidate has ever gotten in California (though FDR got just under 67% in 1936).

If this is accurate, he may need to win it by 5.

Note other recent CA polls showing closer results than 2016 as well though.

The margin will be important when it comes to house races. If Biden wins the state by this much then all Democratic incumbents (and the Katie Hill seat) are safe.

If Biden is winning Cali by 38 points, then he is probably winning the pop vote by 4-5% nationally, even if Trump wins Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin again

Yeah, if this is anywhere close to the final margin, then I have a hard time seeing Republicans picking up any House seats (despite people on both sides hyping up the possibility of this happening).

Biden at 57-42 with whites. Damn. Imagine telling someone in 1988 the Democrat might get that number with CA whites and still lose the national election.

This margin is probably just enough to take out Devin Nunes.

Biden winning CA by 38 points sounds nice, and is probably perfectly in line with the state of the race as it is right now. At the very least Rs should be locked out of gaining any seats they lost in 2018 if this is the margin.

If Nunes doesn't lose, how much will his margin be cut from 2018?
