Looks like in this scenario people are fed up with the Trumps so maybe that's why Don Jr. isn't doing well.

Aug. 22, 2025: President Harris and Senate Democrats propose bill to repeal Tax Bill under Trump Presidency

Wikimedia Commons

Today, President Harris met with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and other Democrats in the Senate to propose a bill that would repeal the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. The Tax Bill of 2017 had effects that hurt coastal blue states and overall it cut taxes for the super rich which in effect caused the deficit to go up dramatically. Moderate Republicans in the House have raised concern about the deficit and some have said that they will support the bill proposed by Democrats. The bill also might have some support among Republicans in the Senate, including Utah Senator Mitt Romney and Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski. Harris and Schumer and fairly confident that this bill will be passed by the Senate and House, and will be singed into law in a few months by President Harris. A vote in the Senate will take place in a few weeks after all details of the bill are finalized.
.

I have a feeling that would actually happen earlier under Biden's administration.

May 8, 2026: Reparations Bill fails in the House

Wikimedia Commons

Today, the Reparations bill proposed by Democrats failed in the House of Representatives. The House is controlled by Republicans with a slight majority. The vote was 210 in favor of the bill with 220 votes against. Most of the 215 Democrats voted for the bill with 5 voting against. No Republican in the House voted for the bill. President Harris spoke on the matter and voiced her disappointment. Harris said, "we are very disappointment that the vote failed in the House. Reparations to descents of slaves are very important and is badly needed. Reparations is still a priority of mine and of my administration in the next three years." Harris also said that we need to move on and work on other critical issues.

Could she do that as an executive order later on in the future?

In a press conference a week after his defeat on Tuesday, November 10th, Trump conceded to President-Elect Biden and declares himself as one of the best president's in America's history. He thanks his Vice President, Mike Pence and everyone else in his cabinet. In his speech, Trump says "On January 20th, 2021, Joe Biden will become President and I will make this transition very swift and easy for everyone involved."
