Hope Nikki Haley doesn't endorse Hawley. Hope there is a real split in the Republican Party.

Pence and Haley were friends in 2024, Hawley and Haley are clearly not.

Nope. Incorrect! Hawley just got there.

I can also explain for everyone: one call, why Hawley won New Jersey. Turnout is low and Hawley is much ahead which everyone knows in this primary season. Hawley would almost definitely win due to Carlson's delegates.

Jun. 7, 2028: Josh Hawley clinches Republican Nomination

Wikimedia Commons

Missouri Senior Senator Josh Hawley has gotten enough delegates to clinch the Republican nomination. Hawley served as the Attorney General of Missouri from 2017 until 2019. He ran for Senate in 2018, and defeated incumbent Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill, by just under 6 percent. This victory was expected and quickly conservatives started to view Hawley as a rising star in the Republican party. Hawley ran for President in 2024, and did not gain much traction, and dropped out right after the New Hampshire primary. He quickly endorsed former Vice President Mike Pence, who went on to lose in the general election in a close race to then Vice President and now, President Kamala Harris. For awhile in the primary, it seemed that it would end in a contested convention, between Hawley, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, and others. Hawley over-performed in many primaries, especially in the midwest. Hawley went on to receive 1308 delegates, and clinch the primary. Haley, the longtime frontrunner in the race, finished second with 827 delegates. Hawley spoke today after clinching the Republican primary, "hello, everyone! I told you we can do it! We came over so many obstacles, and have proved that we are the future of the Republican Party. I want to thank everyone who made a victory in this primary possibly. First to my wife, children, and family.......Thank you! We will go on to win the race against the liberal Democrats and President Harris!" We have not heard from Nikki Haley yet. Sources say that she has not called Hawley and will not concede tonight. The election will now move to the general election campaign, between Hawley and President Harris. Hawley's next step will be to start vetting a Vice Presidential Candidate. Possible candidates include former Presidential candidates, Fox Host Tucker Carlson (R-CA) and Businesswoman Ivanka Trump (R-NY), Governor Jeanette Nuñez (R-FL), Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY), among many others.

2028 Republican Presidential Candidates
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) √
Ambassador Nikki Haley (R-SC)
Sen. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) - Dropped Out (Endorsed Haley, then Hawley)
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) - Dropped Out (Endorsed Hawley)
Fox Host Tucker Carlson (R-CA) - Dropped Out (Endorsed Hawley)
Sen. Thomas Massie (R-KY) - Dropped Out (Endorsed Hawley)
Businesswomen Ivanka Trump (R-NY) - Dropped Out (Endorsed Haley, then Hawley)

A good amount of Republicans will be against Hawley. Haley is and will not be a huge fan of Hawley, but she will endorse him fairly soon. Others won't though, notably "moderates" in the party.

Jun. 23, 2028: Fmr. President Joe Biden will not attend 2028 DNC

Wikimedia Commons

Former President Joe Biden, who served as President beginning in January 2021, until 2025, has announced that he will not be attending the 2028 Democratic Convention in Atlanta, Georgia. Biden also served as the Senator from Delaware for 6 terms from 1973 until 2009. Then, Biden served with President Obama as the 47th Vice President of the United States. Biden did not give a reason for why he won't be in attendance for the Democratic National Convention, for his former Vice President and current incumbent President Kamala Harris.

Many are speculating why Biden will not be in attendance. Many are speculating poor health, as Biden is currently 85 years old. Biden has not spoken on national TV, and has left many people confused, many of which former supporters. However, many important figures will be in attendance including former President Obama, many Senators, Governors, Representatives in Congress, and many many others as well. The Democratic National Convention will begin on Monday, July 31st and will end on Wednesday, August 3rd, with President Kamala Harris accepting the nomination and thanking the Democratic party and the American people for their support.

Jul. 22, 2028: Hawley picks Nunez

Wikimedia Commons

Missouri Senior Senator Josh Hawley has picked Florida Governor Jeanette Nunez (R-FL) as his Vice Presidential Nominee. Nunez, 56 is the first latina/latino Governor of Florida. Nunez served as the Lieutenant Governor of Florida from 2019 until 2027, when she was elected as the Governor of Florida. Nunez is a popular governor in Florida, a state that has been a critical swing state for the last 30 years. Florida would be crucial if Hawley was to win the election. Pundits believe that Hawley picked Nunez to shore up latina/latino support in Florida and other swing states including Texas and Arizona. If elected, Nunez would be the first latina elected as Vice President, and the second women elected to the office of Vice President, after now President Kamala Harris (D-CA), who was elected in the 2020 Election under then former Vice President Joe Biden (D-DE).

The DNC & the Harris Campaign will blast the Hawley/Nunez Ticket as too inexperienced. Nunez serving in her 1st Term as Governor. Hawley is barely over 50.

I don't think that this move will move the Numbers a lot. Hawley is just unelectable for the broader GE Electorate.

Jul. 31-Aug. 3, 2028: Democratic National Convention: Kamala Harris Renominated

Wikimedia Commons

The Democratic National Convention began on July 31st, 2028 and last for four days until August 3rd, 2028. The Convention was a huge success and various Democrats spoke, and touted President Harris and Vice President Buttigieg's accomplishments. Former President Obama spoke at the convention and his speech fired up the convention hall. Obama spoke about the danger the Republicans in Congress, and notably the Republican Presidential Nominee, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley were touting. He spoke about President Trump, and what him and his administration did to the nation. Vice President  Buttigieg spoke about his and President Harris' accomplishments in the last four years. Buttigieg said, "the Republicans if elected with Senator Hawley as President, would bring us back and would halt the progress that we have made in the last eight years, under President Biden and President Harris. We need to reelect, Kamala to continue to make America a better place for every American. Thank you, god bless America!" Harris spoke and talked about the importance of Democracy and thanked her supporters, family, and most importantly every American, if they support her or not.

President Kamala Harris won the official Democratic Nomination on the first round of voting, and was renominated as the Democratic Nominee for President. The vote was almost unanimous in favor of President Kamala Harris, with view delegates voting for other candidates.

Aug 14-17, 2028: Republican National Convention: Josh Hawley Renominated

Wikimedia Commons

The Republican National Convention began on Monday, August 14th, 2028 and lasted four days until Thursday, August 17th, 2028. Missouri Senior Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) was nominated as the Republican Presidential Nominee for President. Hawley attempted to unite the Republican party behind him, as the nominee for President in 2028. Many suspected that Nikki Haley might not endorse Hawley, after a long and contested convention were Hawley just beat out Haley. This turned out to be wrong, as Haley appeared at an event on August 11th, three days before the beginning on the RNC. Haley spoke about the dangers that the Democrats pose and the need for a conservative President who will bring America to a better place. The Republican Vice Presidential Nominee, Jeanette Nuñez spoke at the convention in a memorable speech. She stated, "hello, everyone! I am so honored to be your nominee for the office of Vice President of these United States. I am so excited to campaign and eventually in November, we will win the election by a wide margin and a wave election. We will beat the Democrats, led by President Kamala Harris. We will expand our majority in both the Senate and the House. I want to talk about my home state, the great state of Florida! I am so honored to serve as the Governor of the best state in the United States, Florida. We have done a great job and I want to thank Governor Ron DeSantis for the great job he did as Governor for eight great years. He served honorably, and led the state through multiple crises, including his great response to the deadly, Coronavirus Pandemic. I am so proud and want to thank all of you, great Americans!" The final primary vote was held, and Pence swayed some delegates from Haley. No other Republicans, not named Hawley and Haley received a single delegate.

2024 Republican Primary (1,276 Delegates Needed To Win) - Final Vote (Pence Wins)

Hawley - 1523 delegates √
Haley - 1027 delegates

Hawley speaks

Wikimedia Commons

On the fourth night of the Republican National Convention, Josh Hawley spoke. Hawley thanked his family, supporters, and everyone who made the convention possible. He also thanked everyone for the support. Hawley stated, "hello, everyone! I want to first before anything thank my family including my wife Erin and are two children. I also want to thank my parents, and everyone else in my family. Next, I want to thank my supporters and everyone who voted for me in the primaries. I also want to thank the supporters of other candidates including those who supported Haley, Carlson, Trump, and others. As a candidate, I ran to make America a better place and to reinstate those policies that made America, America. The Democrats are trying to change America and make it into a nation which is unrecognizable, which we will not let happen. We will win this election and come next year will push for more conservative policies, that we have not seen for the last eight years under the Biden and Harris administrations. I am so excited to go into the debates and to crush the Kamala Harris in the debates. We have the movement and will win this election. Thank you everyone. God bless America!" The convention overall was underwhelming, and was not as exciting compared to the Democratic convention.

Sep. 26, 2028: First Presidential Debate:

Wikimedia Commons

Location: Orlando, Florida
Winner: Hawley
Loser: Harris

Highlights: The first Presidential Debate was very controversial and overall a win for the Republican Presidential Nominee, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley. The majority of voters believed that Harris did not come out as prepared and was insincere. Hawley did well against Harris and although rude at times came out as the winner. He convinced voters why is was running for President and did show that he is presidential. Hawley staged many attacks on the Democratic nominee, President Kamala Harris including attacks on her criminal justice record as a prosecutor and attorney general on California. He also attacked Harris on her progressive policies, and had one notable line, "Ms. President, your presidency and your policies are not where they nation is. Simply put it, you are out of touch!" Harris responded and attacked Hawley in the same way. Many pundits do believe that some of Hawley's attacked were warranted. But the moment were Hawley called Harris out of touch, seemed ridiculous as many including liberal Republicans and independents and course Democrats, believe that Hawley is out of touch and is way to conservative. Overall in this debate, Hawley won the debate and rose his standing in the polls.

Oct. 1, 2028: General Election Polling

Harris/Buttigieg vs. Hawley/Nunez

Kamala D. Harris/Pete P.M. Buttigieg: 281 (47.5%, +3.3%)
Joshua D. Hawley/Jeanette Nunez: 257 (44.2%, -3.3%)

Oct. 8, 2028: Vice Presidential Debate:

Wikimedia Commons

Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania
Winner: Buttigieg
Loser: Nunez

Highlights: The Vice Presidential Debate was fairly boring and not eventful. The incumbent Vice President Pete Buttigieg had a huge win in the debate, over the Republican VP nominee, Florida Governor Jeanette Núñez. Nunez attacked Buttigieg, Harris, and their administration on some key issues. Nunez attacked their administration on being "too liberal," and completely out of touch. Buttigieg responded to Nunez in her many attacks and had very good responses. Buttigieg spoke to the American people on key issues and spoke on the progress of the Harris administration. Nunez to pundits and according to polls, seemed out of touch and not in reality of what the majority of Americans want. This debate overall was a win for VP Buttigieg.

Oct. 16, 2028: Second Presidential Debate:

Wikimedia Commons

Location: St. Paul, Minnesota
Winner: Harris
Loser: Hawley

Highlights: The second Presidential Debate was interesting but not as decisive  compared to pst debates both the first Presidential Debate this year in 2028, and past debates in 2020 and 2024, especially the Biden/Trump debates. Overall, this debate was a win for President Harris and she came off as more genuine and appealing to voters, especially among swing voters in close states, including Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, and others. Harris attacked Hawley on some of his conservative policies that are viewed as out of touch towards the majority of Americans. Harris specifically attacked Hawley on his anti-abortion beliefs and stances against social programs that help millions of Americans, especially people of color. Harris also attacked Hawley on his abortion stances, and his support of countless repeals of Obamacare and defunding of Medicare and Medicaid. Hawley did not have well prepared responses to Harris' attacks and did not do well in the debate, compared to the last debate where Hawley was the obvious winner over President Harris. However, although Harris came out as the obvious winner in the debate, it is unlikely to have an effect on the polls, or significantly change the trajectory of the race.

Oct. 23, 2028: Third Presidential Debate:

Wikimedia Commons

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Winner: Hawley
Loser: Harris

Highlights: The third Presidential Debate overall was a victory for the Republican nominee, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley. He came out as the winner because his arguments and stances were stronger in the debate, overall. President Harris' attacks on Hawley and his stances were good but Hawley had good responses. Harris seemed that she did not care about the debate, and was ready for the general election. Voters seemed to find this annoying in the debate, which helped Hawley. Hawley called Harris out on her stances and showed why he was the right candidate for swing voters. Hawley also showed what he could be like as President, and showed that he is and could be Presidential if he was to win. Many expect that this could help Hawley, and could push him over the line in the general election over Harris. This is all relative, as the election is less then two weeks. Currently President Harris still is the favorite in the 2028 General Election.
