Alabama - Siegelman (D)
Alaska - Knowles (D)
Arizona - Napolitano (D)
Arkansas - Beebe (D)
California - Schwarzenegger (R)
Colorado - Ritter (D)
Connecticut - Rell (R)
Florida - Davis (D)
Georgia - none
Hawaii - don't care, although it's cool that an NY Jew is Hawaii's governor
Idaho - don't care
Illinois - Topinka (R)
Iowa - Culver (D)
Kansas - Sebelius (D)
Maine - Baldacci (D)
Maryland - O'Malley (D)
Massachusetts - Reilly (D)
Michigan - Granholm (D)
Minnesota - Hatch (D)
Nebraska - no idea/ don't care
Nevada - no idea/ don't care
New Hampshire - Lynch (D)
New Mexico - Richardson (D) although I don't like him
New York - Weld (R), but his death penalty stance bothers me
Ohio - Strickland (D)
Oklahoma - Henry (D)
Oregon - Kulongoski (D)
Pennsylvania - Rendell (D)
Rhode Island - Fogarty (D), would vote for Carcieri but he vetoed the medicinal marijuana bill
South Carolina - Moore
South Dakota - don't care
Tennessee - Bredesen (D)
Texas - Friedman (I)
Vermont - Douglas (R)
Wisconsin - Doyle (D)
Wyoming - Freudenthal (D)

I am far, far more comfortable voting for Republicans to send to subfederal offices than to the senate, which is why this list is party-diverse and my senate list isn't.

How I would vote:

Alabama - Baxley
Alaska - Knowles if he runs, or Berkowitz
Arizona - Napolitano
Arkansas - Beebe
California - Angelides
Colorado - Ritter
Connecticut - Rell!!!
Florida - Davis
Georgia - Cox!!!
Hawaii - Lingle
Idaho - Brady
Illinois - Blagojevich
Iowa - Culver
Kansas - Sebelius
Maine - Baldacci
Maryland - O'Malley
Massachusetts - Patrick
Michigan - Granholm
Minnesota - Hatch
Nebraska - Hahn
Nevada - Titus
New Hampshire - Lynch
New Mexico - Richardson
New York - Spitzer
Ohio - Strickland
Oklahoma - Henry
Oregon - Kulongoski
Pennsylvania - Rendell
Rhode Island - undecided
South Carolina - undecided
South Dakota - Rounds
Tennessee - John Jay Hooker
Texas - Friedman
Vermont - Douglas
Wisconsin - Doyle
Wyoming - Freudenthal

So 28 Democrats, 4 Republicans, 2 Independents, 2 undecided

I wonder why I'm more partisan on Governors than Senate.  That is strange, and the opposite of voters nationally.

Never heard of the guy.

He's one of the Dems (and seems to the favorite on this Forum) running against Ehrlich in Maryland even though his track record as Montgomery County executive is horrible.

He can't be as bad as Arnold. Arnold has scandal after scandal, the company giving him $1 million a year for favorable legislation, spending taxpayer money on fake journalists, saying he was against gay marriage before he was for it before he vetoed it saying it should be up to the courts, calling everyone "girlie-men", digging up a street for some pothole filling PR all at taxpayer expense, massively cutting the UC budget just a couple of months after he said he wouldn't cut education, having sex with a 16 year old girl when he was 28 (a felony).

Arnold is a total joke, who would have gone down in flames in the recall if the media wasn't so damn biased.

I wasn't familiar with either of these scandals previously, but the connections with the supplement companies seem hazy as he did support a ban on selling supplements to minors.  Were those people jouranlists or did they just ask pre-arraigned questions at town hall meetings?

saying he was against gay marriage before he was for it before he vetoed it saying it should be up to the courts

I support gay marriage, but I believe the issue should be up to the states, and if a state bans gay marriage (as CA voters did), oh well.

Why is that a big deal?

digging up a street for some pothole filling PR all at taxpayer expense, massively cutting the UC budget just a couple of months after he said he wouldn't cut education

I'm not familiar with either of these.

having sex with a 16 year old girl when he was 28 (a felony).

So, should opebo be arrested as well?  This was years ago.

Maryland - O'Malley
Massachusetts - Patrick
Michigan - Granholm

Except California never banned gay marriage. They only banned gay marriges from other states from being recognized in California.

Calling the party of FDR (increased jobs by over 60%) "economic-girliemen"  at the RNC is a good reason to get your ass tossed out off office. Also, he has been very hostile to the State legislature and calls them "girlie-men" all the time. I'm sure the female and gay legislators really like that.

Being uninformed is no excuse for supporting Arnold.

It goes to show you the double standards of the "moral" Republicans. Do you think that Opebo is fit to be governor of California?

You'd obviously know more about it than I would but I've read a few articles (I'll see if I can find them) describing Duncan's less-than-stellar track record in Montogomery Co.

Going to be a lot of undecideds here, mainly cause I don't know most of the races, and also cause there's primaries still to come:

Alabama - undecided I'm not big into supporting tax raisers, unless their name is Mark Warner.
Alaska - anybody but Murkowski
Arizona - Napolitano
Arkansas - undecided
California - undecided
Colorado - undecided
Connecticut - Rell
Florida - undecided
Georgia - undecided
Hawaii - Lingle
Idaho - I don't even know who's running here.
Illinois - Topinka
Iowa - undecided
Kansas - undecided
Maine - anybody but Baldacci
Maryland - Ehrlich (if O'Malley wins primary), undecided if Duncan wins primary
Massachusetts - undecided
Michigan - undecided
Minnesota - Pawlenty (just to piss of BRTD)
Nebraska - Osborne (go NE football  Tongue)
Nevada - Undecided
New Hampshire - Lynch
New Mexico - Richardson
New York - Spitzer.  NY state government is simply incompetant anyways, no matter who runs it.  Weld is an idiot, imho.
Ohio - Strickland
Oklahoma - Henry
Oregon - undecided
Pennsylvania - undecided
Rhode Island - Carcieri
South Carolina - undecided
South Dakota - Rounds (after all, he's popular  Tongue)
Tennessee - Bredesen
Texas - Perry
Vermont - Douglas
Wisconsin - undecided
Wyoming - Freudenthal

Of course, I took a lot of heat from my Republican friends last year for supporting Virginia's GREAT Governor, Tim Kaine, over that clown Jerry Kilgore.

You're a good man.  I supported Forrester as well.

I don't know much about MontCo, but I can say that his Gubernational campaign management so far has been nothing short of terrible.

His campaign has been in disarray, but its beginning to show signs of life.  He recently went after O'Malley for 'cookign the books' when it comes to crime in Baltimore City.

Montgomery County has a lot going for itself.
*One of (if not the) the wealthiest counties in the nation.
*The best minority-majority school district in the nation.
*When it comes to SAT scores, all of Montgomery County’s high schools are in the nation’s top three percent.
*He has an extremely strong record on enviornmental issues.

I could go on, but Im running short on time.

I dont know a single person familiar Duncan that would disagree he has been a great county executive.  The states attorney from Baltimore City summed it up pretty good the other day.  Duncan's campaign has yet to take off, mostly because he's running against a cute and charismatic oppenent.  In any other year, Duncan would be a great candidate.
