I'm pretty sure everyone knows how I feel about redistricting so I'm not going to repeat myself again. Hopefully the dems in congress have enough balls to do it. No one should be allowed to draw maps like that, D or R

New York, you gonna let Illinois rub your nose in how useless you are? Get to it.

The most useless one by far though is California.  If they didn't have a commission they could really do massive damage to the GOP.  And not just that, they've got a lot of horrendous GOP members of congress there like McCarthy, Nunes, Issa, etc.
Yeah but the commission is d biased

I finally was able to draw a 14-3 Dem Gerrymander of Illinois! My map has Kinzinger district's get axed and the Chicago suburb dem incumbents are more shored up. Rodney Davis and Mary Miller have to fight it out in the GOP Primary, Darin LaHood hometown is entirely in Underwood's district, so he would have to move out of the city to run in the R sink of this new 17th district. This is like the messiest map ever. lol

Brad Schneider would not be happy with this

Schneider is in the darker blue 10th district, not the 16th district in my map. Biden sti won this hypothetical 10th district by a comfortable 10% margin.

Enough for Bob to get his revenge in a good year...
Except he doesn't live in the district in this map lol

I'd be pretty unhappy if I were Bill Foster. His new district was really close in the GOV and AG races from 2018, and that was a Dem midterm. It will probably trend D as it is exurban, but in a GOP-friendly midterm I feel like it could flip.

Meanwhile, sophomore Lauren Underwood gets a district that is 100% safe.
I don't know what your talking about. Foster's is like Biden + 16, Underwood's is only
Biden +12. Even in 2016, Fosters is still bluer than Underwoods.

I haven’t had a Democratic rep since Enyart and I’m stoked to be finally getting one (Anne Callis?)

Also, this is exactly the kind of maximalist redistributing every Dem trifecta should be doing until we have a national redistributing standard.

It looks like Nikki Budzinski's the lead Dem running in 13.
Boo! I want Carol Ammons
