I agree, but I have even less sympathy for Mr. Moore's bald-faced manipulation of the facts.  He knows very well that manipulation only can hurt his party, but he does it anyway.

Somewhere in between. I don't like the man but he isn't a horrible person. He is simply fighting for what he believes is right - however distorted his perception of political reality may actually be. Plus his films are hilarious, and do bring real, and often important issues to surface.

Michael Moore is both really.  I guess I'll be nice and say Freedom Fighter, since he's made 1 great movie (Bowling for Columbine), and another (F9/11) that was at least entertaining, but I don't just love the guy.
