Boundary County, ID goes for Sanders. He's up to two counties now among those officially complete tonight.

Finally got an update from ND. Sanders is still leading 44-32 with 32% in.

Wouldn't be surprised if he does end up winning there. Another frivolous caucus that needs to go.

ND has no caucus.

I'm pretty sure it is.

No.

It is only called „caucus“ for some reason.

The actual vote process is a primary, where you cast your vote and leave.

In a caucus you have to remain at the place for 2 hours until the groups get counted.

Projection: Bernie Sanders wins Idaho primary.

He'll net thousands from Canyon County and the rest of Latah County.

ND results by County:

CNN shows TV at:

Sanders: 1,401 (43.8%)
Biden:     1,021 (31.9%)
Gabbard:     14  (0.4%)

DDHQ:

Same % numbers, but includes Warren, Amy, Pete, & Bloomberg...

Ward County: (53-45 Sanders)
Burleigh County: (44-32 Sanders)

Burleigh County is the 2nd largest POP Center within ND (Bismarck ND largest City 70k)....

Def good number from Sanders here (although obviously Cass County will be key in the DEM PRIM).

Obviously not enough to call it yet, but I would probably still rather be Biden in Idaho as of current. Most rural counties are incomplete, he leads in the population center of the state (Ada County) and most of Bernie's best county (Latah) is reporting more than the state at large.

Does anyone else get the vibe that Harry enten, Nate silver, and Dave wasserman aren’t very big fans of sanders?

They are good about keeping things objective, numbers-wise, but I sense a bit of giddiness when they tweet out good news about biden.

I noticed this 4 years ago too. They seemed to favor clinton

What are the chances that the 20% reporting in ND are just the postal votes ?

The % of „others“ is very high ...

Really weak showing for Bernie out west. If he loses ID and WA, he should drop out.

He should drop out because of Michigan alone.

I would not count Ada County out yet, considering not only is it a huge DEM breadbasket, but additionally contains tons of College Students and younger Tech folks as part of "Silicon Desert"....

Winning small rurals is awesome in a 'PUB contest, but we really don't have a recent historical context in a DEM PRIM in ID....

The results so far are not „that“ bad for Bernie.

I expected far worse.

But next week will do him in.

Since they call it both a primary and a caucus and it's not really either, I think it's fine to call it either.

Are the county results from ND we are getting organized by voting site or by where the voters are registered?

Bernie lost the lead in Kent County, Michigan.

It's looking like a a clean sweep in the state with regards to counties. Bernie still holds a lead in Ingham but it's only by about 500 votes and there are still a few precincts left.

He didn't drop out last time when he needed 90% in CA to win. Kind of doubt he'll drop out now.

The voting process is clearly a primary + there was postal voting.

Don’t know why they keep calling it a „caucus“ when it’s clearly not ...

ND doesn’t have voter registration and there is one vote center in each county.

So Steeler, are they counting the absentee votes in MI now???

Yeah, Biden wins WA by about 5 unless the results so far are randomly mixed. Not surprised to see some of the gloating and rubbing it in, though I wish some people could see that they’re acting exactly like the “Bernie Bros” that they claim are so terrible. Honestly, might be time for me to take a break from this site, at least until the hate boners for Sanders start to go away.

Did you hear Biden's speech tonight.
He wants and needs you and the other Bernie supporters to defeat trump come November.
He is being inclusive to all/everyone.

Again, I don't see any gloating or rubbing it in.  Not on Atlas, not on Twitter, not anywhere.

Contrast this with the gloating and rubbing-in the Bernie supporters did after Nevada, which was deafening.

As a map nerd, the possibility of an all blue Michigan county map is pissing me off. Gimme at least a bit of green.
