It being a caucus without many downballots makes me wonder.

Unfortunately Hickenlooper, but I'd rather it be Romanoff.

Colorado is still holding Caucuses for nominating in downballot races. Specifically for the Senate there are two ways to advance to the state convention; one is the March 7th caucus and the other is by petition.

Hickenlooper will win with >75% of the vote, especially if progressives are still in shock and demobilized from Super Tuesday (which they will be).

Ahh, gotcha, so it's basically like Utah?

Nearly solid Hickenlooper. He doesn't have much to worry about.

Safe Hickenlooper. And the general election is Likely, probably even Safe, Hickenlooper, as well.

I'm still leaning toward Hickenlooper (much as I don't like him, he's an absurdly safe bet in any scenario), but Romanoff winning the caucus has sort of blown my f**king mind.
