If only there was a way to remove the Sanders badge from underneath my avatar. I'm on the Biden train now. Bernie is not viable.

Sanders is only up .63% with 32% reported in Texas on the SoS site.

If Bernie is the "most popular politician" in the country, why can't he beat Joe Biden in states that he carried with ease in 2016? Oklahoma, Minnesota, Massachussetts, etc. Why did this "movement" not turn out for Bernie?

This is the electability argument I've been drilling home for the past year. It's nice to have enthusiasm and large rallies. Bernie has both. What he doesn't have is people who show up to the polls. This is abundantly clear now.

Republicans ALWAYS show up. They would massacre Bernie.

If there's any mass movement, it appears it's for Joe Biden. In states where turnout is much higher than 2016, Biden is walloping Sanders by 30 points.

I have to say I'm pissed off more than anything. Biden didn't win this himself. Some last minute shady deals between Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Beto, and the entirety of the media did.

Endorsements didn’t do this, momentum from South Carolina, Joes improvements over the past two weeks, a fear of Sanders as the nominee, and a sign of peace and unity from the endorsements ALL did this

Trump is going to destroy Biden.

Below is your brilliant prognostication from this morning on how you thought Super Tuesday would turn out to be....

"Bloomberg wins OK, AR and TN
Biden wins VA and AL
Sanders wins all other states."

Endorsing someone =/= a shady deal.  This is a baseless assertion.  Was it a shady deal when AOC endorsed Bernie?
AOC endorsed Bernie a long time ago. And plenty of prominent people endorsed Biden around that time as well. It's a shady deal when 2 candidates drop out on the same day, within hours of each other, after saying they'd stay in the race the day before the biggest election of the primary. I'd be shocked if there wasn't some conspiring going on between the 3 campaigns.

Hey guys, I know tensions are high, but lets all unite in our ridicule of Cenk Uygur, who is currently winning only 3.9% of the vote in the CA-25 special.

Thank God. I was afraid he'd start a trend of other "commentators" like Shapiro and Carlson running for low-level offices.

How much of the Metro areas are still out?

Also take with salt, but Biden might be winning election day votes out of freaking Travis.

Joe Biden is a disaster.. hope there is a contested convention this time around IMO. These results are pretty much a tie.

Well this is quite a turnaround among Bernie supporters.  Literally 2 days ago the position was that the person with the most votes should be the nominee.

I don't understand this line of thinking at all.  Just a few days ago everyone was talking about how Amy and Pete had no chance at the nomination and that they should drop out.  They drop out and it's part of some grand conspiracy?  Come on.

Bernie supporters and Biden supporters: please be nice to one another. We all need each other to beat the fascist prick in the White House.

Thanks! Smiley
This post is hippie nonsense.

As long as all the different libs are going to show up in November to vote for the Dem candidate to defeat Trump, and not stay home, the Bernie socialist libs and the moderate libs SHOULD be at each other's throats. They are enemies and they want totally different things for this country.

You have no clue what ur talking about
The socialists want free healthcare, free college, trillions in government spending on wind and solar energy, and taxing millionaires so high that they'll all move away to different countries. The moderates want pre-Trump America. Those are two VERY different visions for America.

Well that’s just denial of the truth, but I understand being upset. I thought I was going to be in your shoes tonight and was getting ready to rally behind Sanders

Obama is still popular with Dems, it's no accident he got Booker, Harris and Steyer out the race. Also, the Castro comments hurt Bernie in TX and OK and FL.  Let's not underestimate Obama coattails

I've gotta say that of all the amazing storylines tonight, Biden getting 5 delegates out of Vermont is the craziest one to me.  Wow.

Considering what has happened in basically every other state, California really is massive for Bernie. Justifies him staying in longer

Pretty much.  One is workable and the other isn't.  The thing about Bernie Sanders is, he's not an idiot.  He knows there's not a movement for free everything and unworkable stuff.  But he's making these false promises to people who are desperate.  It's actually really awful IMO.  He knows there is zero chance of getting any of this passed in the senate.  Now more than ever he should know that the voters don't support this and even if he could win, they wouldn't vote in a Congress that would do this.  His rhetoric only serves to give Trump 4 more years of appointing horrible judges.

Hi, blue avatar!

Just because there are competing visions doesn’t mean we have to be at each other’s throats.

Those visions are closer to one another than either is to the nationalist, corporatist, and xenophobic vision that the president has for the country.

I look forward to uniting in November and defeating him.

No, embracing Fidel Castro did this.  Authoritarianism did this.
