I am not tired of saying that Joe Biden is the most electable Democrat in the race. Another poll confirmed this

Well, MO, isnt a surge state for Bernie, Galloway isnt gonna win, and that was the Dem Establishment recruit for the Gov race, but not good enough. MO is becoming WVA, while KS is moving leftward

It depends of which poll you’re looking at. Two polls from a few days ago had Sanders doing better than Biden in PA/WI against Trump. And if you look at the RCP average Trump is losing by 4.9 against Sanders and by 5.5 against Biden, in other words the idea than Biden is a stronger candidate than Sanders remains very debatable tbh

I would bet a lot of money than Trump will win MO by far more than what this poll is suggesting

Missourian here, this is correct. Not sure how the state became so Republican so quickly - was it really just 12 years ago that Obama lost by less than 1%? Regardless, it's not going back anytime soon. I do think Galloway has a chance though - her campaign focuses on issues that aren't too partisan, and she's a bit more "exciting" in general than the very bland Parson.

Kansas has moved leftward quite a bit, I imagine partly because of demographic shifts and partly as a reaction against Brownback's policies. Maybe it will eventually flip in the distant future along with Montana.

Welcome! Very good post, new guy. Please stick around. Smiley

It likewise keeps sticking in my brain as to the fact that Obama missed Missouri by the skin of his teeth as recent as 2008 compared to now where.... Ugh.

I was just going to say this ....and then I saw EastOfEden post.

How the hell did this happen? While states like Georgia or Montana have treaded water. States like Arizona have drifted blue. Missouri has accelerated into a ruby red state. It’s sad.

If I had it my way almost all states would be swing states.
